Thank you for this beautiful explanation. I have a problem with this type of board. Please help. Error text #10

Do you mean the screen shows Error 10 when you try to boot the system? If so, I don't think there's much you can do besides calling Simplex and having them fix/replace the board.

Can I connect the ground to that nut without the connector or no?

You can, though I'd definitely recommend getting a crimp connector, especially if your AC wires are stranded. It'll hold the wire better.

How to remove card 5 I/o
@EthanBlaisAlarms10 ай бұрын
I'd imagine you'd have to unscrew the screws holding the card to the panel, and then disconnect the ribbon connector. I'm not 100% sure about that though, I've never removed or installed this card in my panel (I bought it with the card already installed).

Idc can program as latching or not latching for fire activation?
@EthanBlaisAlarms Жыл бұрын
Not directly. However, if you wanted to, you could program the IDCs and NACs as supervisory. However, you'd lose the ability to silence if you did that. Another thing you can do is set an IDC as a drill zone, but that doesn't put the system into alarm.

@@EthanBlaisAlarms because there is interfacing in another panel brand incase the main panel activated the simplex will recieve fire signal and if the main panel reset the simplex also i need automatic reset

I suppose you could wire an IDC of the Simplex panel into an on-until-silence alarm relay on the main panel, and set that IDC to either supervisory or drill. When you silence the main panel, the relay will deenergize, which will reset the Simplex panel. Whether this would be up to code or not, I do not know.
