How To Wire Up A Van Switch Panel - And Isolate With Internal Switch

Күн бұрынA switch panel is really useful to control lights, fridge and other 12 volt appliances in your van. But do you really want the blue LED lights on all night?
Rewire it so you can switch the LED lights off with one of the switches on the panel. No need to get an external switch.

Thankyou for this. Very simple but a very good idea. I've just utilised this in my camper and it has made it far easier to sleep without the bright leds.

Have you worked out how to turn the usb and 12v socket lights off as well as the volts yet? I tried but could only manage to do either one or the other not all light

Thats very smart mate. Never would have believed that little 9v battery could have the power required to run 12v stuff. Good trick. I was wondering if you could have something rigged up so you could plug into a cig lighter to test things like this?

Cigarette lighter is a great idea, as that would test the full 12 volts.
