This video was a great resource for me! but i’ll say to anyone DIYing their wrap and it may be your first or so i would remove the hood vents to wrap the hood. I had to restart 3 times on the hood trying to wrap over the vents but once removed it was so much better and for a beginner you won’t have to worry about lifting in the long run! the major thing i changed from this video that made the wrap so much easier for me.

Bro, that Stang looks crazy good. Reminds me of the Mystic Cobra colorshift paint on the '03 Cobras. I have the 1994 SN95 rounded body style and I think this color would look AMAZING on it because of all the bends to hit that light in different angles. Great job. I wish you lived closer.. Lol

Very informational video. Results were great, love the color shift. But for the love of god do not use a metal tape measure. Easy way to scratch the paint you're about to wrap. Had it right on the paint in the beginning then the closed tape measure left on the hood later. Great work, but respect your clients vehicle. Go to the fabric section of Walmart and get a cloth tape measure in a plastic housing.

The pro wrap shop in Brooklyn ny called 180customs did a perfect job with no lifting and looks better then paint and using 1 piece sheets yes it cost 3k but the quality is flawless so u basically get what you pay for trust me and that goes for any auto related parts and mods Remember guys “good work ain’t cheep!” “And cheep work ain’t good” You will always be able to tell the difference in quality Oh and it was a 3m satin flip volcanic flare (color change/shift wrap)

Got the same car about a month ago, mine is in silver but wrap just came in so i plan to make it Matte Black. If i can pull this off nicely for a first time wrapper then i should hopefully not have any real problems with other cars.

The bmw looks beautiful with the hood in fiber carbon, i prefered the way ti looks before

if you're trying to save a few bucks on materials you are CLEARLY not charging enough for your wraps. You should be charging what it would cost for the exact amount of vinyl x 2 MINIMUM, then add in your labor. $1k for a backyard wrap is CHEAP. anything below that and I'd worry about the installer not being professional however good hearted and good intention the person was.
