Hey Ana, I really loved this video. It was so calming and soothing to watch, and it took away my anxiety surrounding starting a diary. I wondered whether I am too late (young adult here) to create a diary, but I think now is the best time to start. Thank you again for your warmth that shone through the screen, and touched my heart. I'm so glad to know this video was helpful, appreciate your kind words so much. ❤️ Even though diary writing was popularized in the 20th century through "The Diary of a Young Girl" (best known as "The Diary of Anne Frank"), it doesn't mean that it's only for teenage girls. Everyone can benefit from diary writing, regardless of age, gender, or life circumstances. It's never too late to write a diary and live fully - and so much is yet ahead of you! Happy journaling. 🙂

I was curious, if I have some interesting subjects like theories about black holes and the unknown; and I write about the same "ideas" years apart, should I separate those thoughts..? I have diaries, dreams and "theoretical" things, and can't decide if I should include them all in one journal, or separate them up by subjects...

I'm confused do i write daily or twice or thrice a week i don't have alot to write.

It’s really up to you to decide how often you write in your diary. If you’re now getting started, I’d recommend beginning small - once a week is enough. Over time, journaling will become second nature to you, and then you can adjust your practice accordingly. Imagine, one year from now you’ll look back in your diary and have a Time Capsule of a chapter of your life. ❤️✨

That's absolutely the choice of the individual, but most people prefer not to show it to others because of privacy.

Yes, you can write about heavy emotions. Just remember that each emotion brings a message… After journaling about how you feel, ask yourself what can you learn from that emotion.

Agree with everything but with paper journal you can't: 1 bring 20 years of journaling all together with you 2 say what you were doing on feb 2022 and also on aug 2005 3 search quickly what lamp you bought for your car light, when and where you got it 4 say how much and when did you pay for electricity bill My family thinks it's a waste of time but my passion for journaling saved my a$$ more than one time.

Totally agree. Digital journaling has many advantages compared to analog, and vice versa.

@@AnaJuma that's why I keep with me a paper journal for rapid logging to keep track of things and do afterwards a more detailed reflection on a file 🙂
