Elizabeth Acevedo is the greatest poet ever! I'm so thankful to read and get full inspiration from a wonderful woman like Elizabeth. When I read her work, I felt like she really understood my language when it comes to poetry and she sees straight through me how you're worthy of becoming and how brave you are at taking the first step. I always say you can find poetry in anything. Sometimes we just choose what we want make poetry out of. What’s poetic enough to us in that moment. What needs to be spoken about or released in that moment poetically… 💭
