As shown in this clip, Thais memorize the alphabets with a word that consists of that alphabet. Let me clarify the word of some alphabets. 1:08 ฉ ฉิ่ง is not the cymbals as you usually see in drum sets or the symphony. It's a Thai traditional instrument. Very small compared to the drum set one. 4:20 ภ สำเภา is not a junk that means trash or rubbish. (Edit) Junk in this case means a Chinese sailing vessel. 5:39 ฬ จุฬา is a type of kite with star-liked shape.

Nice handwritings! To write more perfectly, I recommend a paper with horizontal lines not blocks like this. Blocks are suitable for writing Chinese character (Kanji, Hanja), Kana and Hangul while horizontal lines are suitable for writing Indic scripts (Indian, Tibetan, Burmese, Thai, Lao, Khmer, etc.). Using a paper with horizontal lines you’ll see the correct proportion and extensions of each letters (above or below the line). Not all letters have the same width, some are normal, some are narrow and some are wide. For examplee ณ, ญ, ฌ, ฒ are wider than ก, ถ, ภ, ต, บ, ม while ข, ฃ are narrower than บ, ป.

It's ironic how "Spoken Thai" has many sounds that, for a non speaker such as myself, it sounds like little brief snippets of songs, and "Written Thai" to me, it looks like a special set of music symbols so, it fits really well to the language having both combined (written and spoken form). 🥰🥰

タイ文字にも興味を持っていただいた上、丁寧に書いていただきありがとうございます。 日本でタイ語教師をしているので嬉しいです。 タイ文字の一部をバランスよく書けるには四角いではなくたまたま横に細くなったり(ข ช ซ)、縦に1.5倍ぐらい長くなったり(ฏ ฎ ป ฟ)するものもあります。そして右上に尻尾(ช ซ ส)をもっと長く書けば完璧です。

Many Thai alphabets are written above or below the line. Such as ญ, ฎ, ฏ, ฐ, you should write the bottom part below the line and the tail of ป, ฝ, ฟ should above the line.

Beautiful! But, in my opinion, at 2:23, I think " ฐ " body should be written lower than the head (the circle). The one you wrote is kind of like a mix of " ล " and " ร " which doesn't exist in Thai alphabet. The rest of the alphabets are perfect!

They should be tall, like h is compared to o.
