Tom Ford's fragrances are stupidly expensive but oh so lovely. The impact this man has had in the fashion and film industries are definitely impressive.

One of my most favourite artists of all time. It is sad to have heard him stepped down. His Gucci and YSL designs from the early 2000s will always be iconic.

Nicely done: personally I am not as keen on TF’s fashion legacy, he ushered in a era of branding over design (though his work was good, it was more vibe than artistry imho) I even agree with (the admittedly very difficult man) Yves when he railed against his hyper sexualisation direction! Arguably TF is the Mary Mallon of the Lux branding over design DNA obsession of the 00’s!

Tom ford was a god send for men’s and women’s fashion. I will always try to buy his suits when I can. Yes everything is expensive but sometimes you have to spend some money to own nice things When he sold his company we all lost a person that truly wanted everyone to look great.

He ran out of ideas, he only did one thing. He essentially took Yves Saint Laurent looks from the 70s and disco 80s and made them modern. There was zero originality.

I don't think TF worn his brand on the Vanity Fair cover, if you look at the lapel is not his signature 90 degress peak lapel which it was his "Windsor" (Base A) Cut where it was his first suit style. Before his label, he got his suits made by Anderson & Sheppard where he found it frustrating to buy from as their blocks are very restrictive where he can't even request for his signature wide lapels. Due to that frustration he actually started his own label where he actually spend a lot of money on marketing where he wasn't gonna call it under his name as he saw it to be too personal as his clothes has his name on it.
