I didn't recognise the line. I need to rewatch Thor now, then maybe I'll rewatch the final Loki episode. The ending of Loki was spectacularly powerful and heart-wrenching. The fact that his last words, were words of wisdom his father once told him, really elevates an already strong ending.

It's always extra awesome when an actor really appreciates such a big role given them -- instead of being embarrassed later and think it's not a serious enough role, and maybe their ego would rather be known for something more artsy, or whatever. I think it's a lot less strange when you consider how long some of these actors have been living with their characters. Thor was released in 2011, and Loki season 2 came out 12 years later, the second season of television built off 5 (including Infinity War) appearances. It's not surprising they have a lot of emotions and ideas to contribute, and honestly it's quite smart of them to make space for him to offer that.
