Even though you viewers from the UK might miss the iconic twos, I think these idents are creative, colourful, and also satisfying to watch.

As Sad as I am to see the old 2's go, I actually really do like these Idents. It still has the feel of the 2 through the curvature, you could say that there are some tributes to the last idents like Dog, Firework and Water in some, and also it has Variety!! One of the reasons I was a fan of the old 2 was the Variety in it's idents...and we definitely are stuck with the variety which I like

Strangely soothing... and many ways very inventive! Loved the geode half at the end especially when played in 1080p! Though I always wondered what the little fluffy orange creature with the little slimy retractable legs here looks like from above! (Maybe ask me for a visual imagined guess sometime soon.)

I used to love the number twos that wheeled about etc - they were on the start of a tape of Wallace and Gromit we had 😄

These really are a worthy successor to the ‘2s’ idents!

Not as good as the old Lambie-Nairn “2” idents of the 90s (and 2014-18) but nothing is. Much better than any of the bland BBC 1 idents ever, and better than most of BBC 2’s other ones. 4:35 and 6:20 are definitely a nod to the old ones. Love some of the psych elements but generally hit and miss. I’m not a big fan of the ones where you can’t really make out the “2” either.

I'm gonna miss those 2s. If anything, at least make sure they are never forgotten. They're what put BBC Two on the map where the previous iteration failed.

I liked the old 2s from 1991 better.

It really is a new era: New Doctor Who and New BBC2 Idents I will always love the 2 idents they brought back for the 50th anniversary as they were my childhood, but I'm glad the nostalgia trip is over and BBC2 have decided to bring a fresh new idea to the screen. My only nitpick is I think the 2 is a bit too close up but still distinguishable from the curve.

Some idents they could do: Inflate: We see the curve with one side black, the other side white. Then, the black side fills with air and takes over the white side. Then, it deflates as the white side inflates and takes over the black side 3 seconds later. The process then repeats. Inspired by the Balloon ident and the Pump stings. Starry night: We see a starry sky with a group of stars as the curve. Then, the Sky changes as we see another group of stars form the “2” curve, but over a purplish-red nebula. Then, we go back to the start as the process repeats. Inspired by Optics along with the sculpture ident. Beach: We see the shore as the “2” curve with one side being sand and the other side being the ocean. Then, the ocean side starts forming waves and hits the sand. Then, the water takes over the sand before the water calms and stops producing waves. Then, the process repeats. Inspired by Wave Day and Wave Night. There can also be a nighttime variant where the sand and ocean is darker. This is all optional by the way.

Were these made by those hippies that took too many drugs in the 60’s and then went on to make children’s TV in the 70’s. Love em’. These would make awesome screensavers.

These BBC Two station idents are trippy, but oddly relaxing and meditative. I love the second one especially.

The 1991-2001 2's should've been kept; they gave the channel a lot of character. Don't get me wrong, these Curved 2's are okay, and keeps to it's art world based concept, like the 1991-2001 2's, but I think that it lacks the personality that the 2 had....

I’ve noticed something about that new look at the right side on these new idents there I actually the 2s and I knew it here is how you see that line that looks like the river and I put my finger on the tv screen on that line that looks like a river and I moved my finger from down the screen to up and knew where do the line continue that line is the edge of the number 2 that goes and looks like the 2s from the 1991 idents

They don’t look like 2 at all If you took the BBC Two logo off at the bottom you wouldn’t know what this was for

Imagine these kids born after 2018, when they start watching tv. They catch these idents on TV and say “Wow! How cool these are!” But they don’t have any other reference. When they see the 90s indents and compare them to these, they would probably pity the rest of us. But it’s also a subjective perception, as people tend to grow more fond of the things they saw first.

The visuals are great and are used depending on the programmes theme but the music sounds a bit generic. Still like the curve idents!

Unlike most people I really like this and the thing is it's a shame because I will rarely see them because I rarely watch bbc2 but these are still better than that oneness crap these are really but I don't think they will even last 5 years but then again they might I really don't know because I can't see into the future but I really do like these

I really like these; abstract yet you know exactly what they represent. They almost balance out how utterly dreadful BBC1's 'oneness' idents are!
