That 1960 Quarter is Silver !! Keep It Jack. Keep all quarters, dimes, half dollars from 1964 back. They are all 90% Silver !! Half dollars from 1965 up to 1970 are 40% Silver. Sell all of your Silver coins at the end of the year to a coin shop ;-) $$

Coinstar offers 100 percent redemption rate for gift certificates at Lowe’s Hardware, etc. I buy air filters, oil, garden supplies, wood, screws, grilling accessories, stuff like that. Also, I take the rejected coins and run them through one more time. It accepts more of them the second time around. Must have to do with the spinning cages and wheels that sorts and counts the coins.

Really enjoy these weekly video from Jack. I save coins & cash them in when getting little short on money. I had old collector type coins just face value was over $3000. From childhood forward saving them. Lots 1800's & like 2 back in 1700's. Even Confederate money. Sadly family member stole them.. Now I lost interest in collecting.

I take mine to local bank and they feed them through the machine at no charge. You can save up a lot money that way, it's kind of surprising. Great video by the way. Keep up the good work.

I used to work where there is a coinstar. Found so many coins left by users. Old ones, foreign and tokens from interesting places. I always check when I walk by one. Thanks for the video.

You're going to get a lot of these, but that appears to be an Italian coin, not Canadian. And, since they have been replaced by the Euro, it might be worth hanging on to as no more will be made. The 1960 quarter might also be worth hanging on to.

Greetings and Blessings from central Ohio! .... So you save your change too?!! I've done that for years, and yes, it does add up! I too, save up in a large container. FYI: Some banks have coin counters, and will do so at no charge. I have a small checking acct. at one such bank. I simply drop off the change, along with a deposit slip ... They run it through the counter, deposit it to my ckng account, than either call with the total, and mail the deposit receipt to me. It's a great way to get it taken care of! So glad to see you back in the saddle from time to time!! I think any of us who are former drivers fully understand your missing trucking. Its been many yrs for me, and there are times I miss it as though it was yesterday. May I be bold enough to make a prediction? I would think that, with your avid love of the industry that, sooner or later you're going to be back out there doing what you dearly love to do, and that is driving a truck! I too thought when I finally hung it up and took the position of office/driver manager of a small company, that I had had enough of crazy, ill-mannered and inconsiderate drivers (of all sorts of vehicles) .... plus never being at home, that I was ready to sleep in my bed at home every night .... That novelty soon lost its luster tho, and finally went back to driving. Driving is a career that some are destined to be happy and content doing, while others find that it's just not what they expected it to be. I was happiest when trucking through the 48 Continental states and the Canadian provinces .... I would not trade the scenery, people nor their stories for anything. For instance, I sat at what was then Burns Bros. Husky truck/travel center at Troutdale, OR, watching from a distance, steam pouring out of Mt. St. Helens. Two weeks later, while I sat safely back at home here in Ohio, she finally let go. A trucker friend I had met out there sent a small container of her ash to me later on ... Such stories are a part of my reminiscence of my own personal time, doing what I loved and enjoyed. To all who subscribe and view these great videos, stay safe and well, and be Blessed!! Every night I empty my pocket change into a wooden cigar box in my truck. When it gets full there is usually around $300 in the box. We use the money to supplement our vacations.

Great show, don't worry about a show about nothing, Seinfeld was said to be just that, a show about nothing, and they made millions. No matter what the show is going to be about, there are all the production goodies that can make or break any video. Stuff like sound, video production including the editing among other attributes that come from experience. Fun vid and out-take was really great.

I joined the local credit union mainly for the use of their coin counter machine. No charge at all for dumping your coins if you are a member. :-) Great Video.

Jack When you talk about and give DAT Soloutions promos, you need to specify the Pro Version which is 100.00 Dollars a month. But the pro version gives the 15 and 30 Day averages for what the lanes and loads paid so drivers can tell brokers, hey last week that load paid more. If you have a good bank, they will do coin counting (machine) and cash it out without any fees. Otherwise, I use the same Coin-Star machine that you used in the video. 9:50 NO COIN COUNTING FEE if you turn your coins into certain gift cards. I choose Amazon gift card most times. So, my coins pay for my Amazon purchases. I've also chosen Home Depot gift cards and Starbucks. All are places I shop at already

I almost have no coins, just a few dollars in quarters for the car wash. I pay for just about everything with my Discover Credit card, they give you 5% back on every purchase. I have a $1,000.00 Root Canal at the dentist coming up, and that will go a long way to having free money. Then when I collect enough points or at Discover card enough free money, then I use it to shop on Amazon.com. I keep an Amazon list of things I want, and usually the free money Discover Card gives you is enough to pay for it all, or it certainly helps. Also using my discover card, I get a notice via E-mail of what I spent, so I can save it in a folder on my PC as a recite or just keep a running balance on Excel or even look on the card's web sight, and that helps me to stay with in my budget. There are other cards I believe do that as well, however I've had Discover Card since the 80's and have been very happy with it. So I no longer have the change to fill up the old water bottle such as what you held.... Always nice seeing you Jack, still was a great video...BTW I miss you driving too, but seems to me at your age and the job you have, you have made a good decision. At least you are not out of trucks totally and they are keeping you busy. As long as you like what you are doing, busy is good because the day goes by faster not that you wish your life away, and once in awhile you still get to drive semi's so your job seems fairly diversified which I think will keep you from getting bored with it. Chase bank i take mine. Use gallon zip lock bags and seperate them by denomination fill in the deposit slip they count and weigh them and add to my account

I use the coin machine Jack, but never turn in the quarters. We have a 79c store that I go to and spend the quarters there.

I give all the quarters I collect to my mother. She has to pay to do laundry at the senior center she lives at. The rest I ignore as long as I can. But once in a blue moon I roll them up and take them to the bank

I used to save my coins over the year and that is how I bought Christmas and birthday gifts, but now since I use my debit cards or credit card I rarely have any coins to put in the jar.

Try giving the coins to your Bank. They will count and deposit them for you. They won't take a commission. You don't need to roll them up first.

Me and my wife cashed in coins. We had five one gallon milk jugs full. And we cashed them in at the machine at our Wal-Mart in our town. The manager said they just emptied it out. So we filled it back up dam good. We made $7,250.31 the employee wanted to do a gift card I pointed where it said turn ur change into cash. They had fun in the back getting money. A friend shows up and was like u guys broke. I go dude geez nope just cashing change in. Wife goes hell we have over $50,000.00 in the bank. I said we are going to buy the kids each a 4 wheeler. Cause we go off roading allot. And the youngest 2 share there's. I seen Matt quit Traveloco. He said to join and I was like nope. No offense Jack. I been with the same company over 30 years. I worked there when I was 14. Washing and cleaning the trucks and office. My boss and her late husband adopted me when I was 15 (Bad Home) they raised me since. I started driving at 18. And long distance at the driving age. Drove long distance until my wife said house payment (rent to own) is paid off them I drove locally around town. The kids are happy I am home at nights.i do miss driving long distance once in a while. The kids are wanting to go. I am taking them when there outta school for the holidays.

If I have a lot of coins I take it to my bank they will count they will give me in return cash money for my coins you just got to find the right back brother

I roll them and bring them to the bank. It's a good way to save for the future.

My bank takes loose coins and gives cash for free. They won't even take rolled coins so it doesn't help me to roll my own.

Turn my coins in at bank I use - they have a machine to count them & they don't charge a fee.
