Pick up some tips from Mark on one of BMX's most sought-after maneuvers, soon enough you'll be hop-whippin' like Dehart. Because lets be real, everyone wishes their hop whips looked as good as Chase D's.

Almost there. I usually try to learn everything flat as I feel flyout is scary sometimes. Learning 3's flat was a pain in the ass for me.

+LEET H4X0R My nollies have always been dialed, so nollie 180's were easy. Learning g-turn 180's also helped.

Yes i learned them flat because there are no ramps where i live too. It's all about comiting the catch(Shin guard on my front foot helped me comiting a litle bit harder)

everytime i do a hop whip i land with my back foot on the frame i cant stop any suggestions?

o just got a freecoaster and when i leaned tailwhips my backfoot would be really late. any tips for doing them with a coaster?

how do you keep your feet off the ground after kicking ? .. mine immediately comes to the ground with no delay.. If I suck my legs up the front wheel hits my leg and the motion stops or my feet just come back down harder.. can anyone help figure this out?..

wear shin pads....literally. same thing would happen to me, bike would get all the way around and id land next to it and couldnt keep my feet up, at all. I got shin pads and now i can get back foot on the pedal every single try, OR front foot on every try. Still working on both though haha

The day i bought shin pads in 3 or 4 tries i was landing 1 foot on the pedal from doing what you are doing. it helps so much
