28:40 Oh, this is actually kinda neat! You were technically able to cast the planar incision because of how Vorinclex works. Rather than actually doubling the mana your lands produce (like Mana Reflection), he himself just adds a copy of the same _type_ of mana to your pool, which means it won't keep any special rules attached to it. So arena recognized that you could tap the cavern of souls for "uncounterable elf" blue mana and that vorinclex would give you a regular blue mana you could spend on anything else.

I think the doubled mana with vorinclex does not need to be used with caverns restrictions hence why it told you could cast the flicker

Great video. But I wonder if this was one of those rare cases that casting emrakul wasn't worth it, because vorinclex had all their mana locked down so you wouldnt be able to cast anything during their turn and then they would untap in the extra turn they get afterwards at 29:45 ?

Imagine that you're just out here playing your fun, unoptimized Go-Shintai shrines deck, and you see LVD is your opponent. "Cool," you think, "what neat deck did he put together this time?" Then he kills your board, domes you for 11, and draws 17 cards. "Man, I should scoop, but the guy needs content," you think. "I'll Day of Judgment to drag this out a little." Nope!

In game 3, Emrakul might not have been the best choice, since she would give you the opponent's next turn, then the opponent would take a turn and have their lands untap.

8:33 You could prevent their second draw by flickering with the token on the stack, you'd be preventing 1 draw at the cost of them having 1 surviving token.
