While everyone outside was slowed down, he kept aging and caught up to Videl, so Gohan is technically younger. Edit: More clarification, being in the time chamber doesn’t stop the outside world, it just dilates time for whomever is inside the chamber.

...That's not how that works. Videl was born in age 756, and Gohan was born in age 757. He was a year younger than Videl originally, but after staying in the time chamber for a year, he became the same age as her.

Boy meets Girl Girl blackmails boy into joining fighting tournament to test her skills on true warriors or else tells everyone his secret identity. Boy relents and agrees. Girl also requests to be taught how to fly. Boy relents and agrees again. Compared to Goku/Chi-Chi it's somewhat better. But I guessing either there was more moments between the two of them in the manga that wasn't shown in the anime or I probably don't remember/didn't watch it.

The funniest part is that this was supposed to happen across a few weeks. Also in Dragon Ball’s world apparently having a last name is really rare. The show actually explained it Videl’s logic better, new random superhero shows up the same time a new student does, the guy sounds like he’s goofing with his voice, Gohan accidentally calling Videl by name was the final nail, and the last thing is his full name which gave things away.

Chronological age is stupid for a time traveler. If you go forward or backward in time by a thousand years, that's not going to be the age for yourself that you tell people. Side note: keeping track of how old you are gets REALLY hard unless you keep a stopwatch on your person that you never, well, stop. Anyway, point is, saying Gohan is 16, going on 17 was always stupid, since because of his time in the Chamber, he was 17 going on 18.
