Pokemon Competitive Singles in Gen 3 is a funny game.
In my latest livestream, I allowed my Chat to choose what Pokemon I built around. While most suggestions were difficult to win with, sometimes trying out new things can surprise you.
I ended up finding some real value in Pokemon I'd never considered using before.
This is insane.

You're gonna need to get a game design degree online, and FAST, if you want to make a better game than this. Not even the best strategy games android reddit could hold a candle to this breathtaking Next generation competitive Pokemon experience.
Scream Tail is the Jigglypuff of our wildest dreams. It has been buffed with some higher statistics and the incredible ability, Protosynthesis. Gen 9 Competitive Pokemon wouldn't be the same without this powerful pink blob. He kinda looks like someone I met in one of my game design and development courses.
Gen 9 Pokemon Showdown is one of the greatest online gaming sites in history. From Pikachu and Charizard, to Palafin and Roaring Moon, The new Pokemon games, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, have introduced a lot of new faces. Can I succeed in one of the best android games of all time? If so, I'm gonna get myself a Walmart bakery Pokemon cake to celebrate.
Gholdengo is a Pokemon made of pure gold. He must have done some online business management courses to accumulate all that wealth. Or perhaps he might want to learn how to make money playing video games on KZfaq. In any case, he's a powerful metagame force, with absolutely no interest in online game development schools.

I am so happy that walrein is getting some love. I have been using it in national dex ubers on pokemon showdown and it is not as bad as you think to set up rain. It is a good partner for regieleki. ( in a meme way but it's good) I run sash or leftovers

Walrein has invaded my home. I heard grunting from the freezer, and opened it to see that the beast had grown enormous. I tried to run, but was blocked by its thick fat. I cried out 'this is insane!', as it repeatedly encored me into saying 'this is insane!'.

Shellgon doing a shocking 54% to Blissey did make me come out of my shell. I now have +2 in my attacking stats and speed, but -1 in my defenses. This is insane.

Now this is insane. Gligar was/is one of my favorite pokemon, since I was a wee lad in the gen 2 days. Seeing you use it in gen 3 ou and it doing decent fills me with almost as much joy as when it got its evolution into Gliscor. Funny enough, I just used Walrein in my last emerald playthrough, and was surprised just how strong it is

While we're looking at 'terrible' pokemon, I want to know if Flareon works as a Ghost Counter. Hear me out: - Flash Fire absorbs incoming will o wisps and powers up its fire STAB. - High Sp. Def sponges any incoming special move. - Can use Shadow Ball What do you guys think of Flareon in Gen 3 OU? Personally, with the right team, it has the potential to be insane.

I really want to make Tentacruel work in gen 3 OU. It seems like it has some advantages, rapid spin, good speed and spdef... But I can't figure it out!! Anyone have ideas??

I've tried using it. It works best in tandem with Porygon2. I'm not very smart, but I think it's just a worse Starmie. It does have Liquid Ooze to deter Leech Seed though. And it can use STAB Sludge Bomb to be more physically threatening. I've tried some of these ideas, but none of them have been particularly good.

No gen 3 OU is amazing for this, I just built a fun Dunsparce team that actually does well. Curse counter shadow ball and body slam is my normal build, max hp and atk, i run a screen zapdos, leech sub pass celebi and mag support with it. Boosted it beats metagross with counter , high chance to 2hko many neutral to body slam threats like zapdos. and sniping the ghost with it is never not hilarious

i just saw an old video from jim talking about his glaile spikes offense team, and i built my own super scuffed team based on it with the same salac glailie set, and i cooked so hard i knew i had to share my insanity. there's an agility drill peck zap, dd mence and moltres which are pretty standard except for some greedy low speed stats to live a few common hits, but the real cooking starts with my spinblocker being rest talk wisp night shade specially defensive dusclops which simply refuses to die, and the utterly stupid thing i just did and won a game w rn is... calm mind pass medicham. hear me out so you understand the thinking lmao, i needed to squeeze a rock resist into the team, but didn't want to give up cm pass, so i searched for cm passers and what do you know literally the only one who resists rock is medicham. this is insane. it's actually pretty good lol since the huge pressure it puts on causes switches for a free turn

Here's an off the wall opinion that nobody asked for and few will probably share. I don't like Hidden Power or Terablast. I think that the amount of coverage a pokemon gets through its learnset/machines is a significant factor in its viability, and being able to essentially plug gaps in your teams coverage any time you want takes away from that. What do people think? Am I insane?
