Tbh I always thought Wang Lei was just a funny and charismatic uncle. But after listening to this podcast, I have a new found respect for him! Can tell he's been through so much and I think many people would've long given up if they were in his position. Happy that him and his wife are living comfortably now 😊✨

Despite Wonglei foul-mouth and overly direct attitude which can offend many people, I have to say this guy is very quick witted and humorous in his conversations during such liveshows which makes it very entertaining. Probably better than many big celebrities even, who sometime cannot really handle a situation without proper scripting.

I cried so much after watching Uncle Wang Lei cried too. My Dad used to get addicted to horse gambling and ended up owning loan shark too. I can relate his feelings about family too. I am very glad my Dad has completely given up gambling after becoming a Happy Grandfather to my Sister’s children. ❤️🥲
