These guys are super slow growers I've heard so if you don't see any progress even after a few weeks I wouldn't panic.

I've found single leaf propagations are faster to get going.

How long does it take ? I’ve been doing single leaf propagation for months . They grow rhizomes with small roots but don’t grow stems.

Well, 4 weeks from the day I commented and I'm starting to see something happening. Someone on IG mentioned tinted glass working well for her specific type of propagation. I decided to try for the ZZ and in my mind it worked.

Keep water clean some say, others say don't change the water because the plant releases growth hormone in it and just top it up. So what is the truth?

i’d change it every week or so. if you wanna be in between the two then you could dump only half the water and replace half with clean water every week 🤷🏽♂️

Every three days. You want to make sure there is always new oxygen available to the plant

They propagate much better in perlite but they do take MONTHS to root… not weeks
