What’s the price for the materials to build this sized ramp? And what would it roughly cost to make a small bowl to skate in next to it? Like maybe a foot deep. Might do a rail on a corner and a bench. I’m hoping for a small park like that to cost me less than $3,000 but willing to do something for $5,000 if I have to. Just trying to get my family to come by more and get myself more active outside.

@@JackRFCs Lol, not even close. Probably a bit under 10 times that. Even just making a wooden mini ramp like this can easily cost over $1000 in materials building it yourself. I would be surprised if this was under $5,000 unless he knows the people who did the concrete and got a super good deal. I wouldn't be surprised by $10,000.

We have a park here that is built by locals. It costs us about 1200 in materials to build a 6-7ft quarter, 8-10ft wide..with a deck. Without a deck/against an existing wall or structure it cost 7-800ish. We use block and build the deck base out of that. Fill all that in with dirt and gravel, then lay out the transition with dirt and rebar, and pour on top of that. I’m not sure how the deck They built is going to hold up when the wood starts to sag. I think it will crack, but I could be way wrong.

@chriscampbell6602 жыл бұрын
@@boneless4799 you're way off.. Rebar alone for #4 is going to cost you around $1000... I'd guess this is close to 10 yards of concrete (roughly $1500, delivered) plus a pump guy ($300ish for the first truck, more for every additional), dirt, compactor rental, wood, rebar ties, etc.. Do it yourself you'd be lucky to spend less than $3500 but most likely it would be closer to 4-5k.

What kind of concrete mix do I need for a skate surface?
@barfod784 жыл бұрын
The name of the concrete depends on what company you use here in Denmark it has different numbers for the types of concrete ....we use the same concrete as you are using for building High Way bridges It’s a very strong concrete it don’t break up no matter how the weather conditions is And it’s very smooth if you work it the right the right way Remember I had a company to do this for me I do nothing but build skate parks around in Europe Call FSR beton ( fsr Concrete) se em on Instagram ...
