Last fall (2021) I had the opportunity to travel to Minnesota to fish with two good friends John & Don for several days on Lake Winnibigoshish. It was an epic trip with plenty of jumbo perch and some walleye in the mix. In this video of fishing Lake Winnibigoshish I take you through where we stayed, the actual locations we caught fish and what we caught them on and the technique we used. This is where Louie Anderson and hes family as a child used to come , in the life with Louie cartoon, he was talking about catching the" husky muskie " 😂 , it's nice to see the lake and how the cabins look , even if 40 years later , gives me a sense of happiness extrapolated from my childhood

We had a blast and the years that I am able to go we have a huge fish fry with friend and family and even with all those fish there are few leftovers! They are my favorite freshwater fish to eat too! God bless you brother! PS- I'm looking forward to your next catch video!

Have you tried our cass lake a little west of this lake?

I travel to Minnesota every so often to fish with my friend and his brother. We have fished a lot of lakes there, from Mille Lacs Lake in the south to the boundary waters and the Manitoba River in the North, but never Cass lake. I'm not sure if this is a lake you fished in the past, but one we might have to try our next trip. I have several other videos on my homepage for Minnesota fishing and even fishing there for trout with cowbells. You might want to check them out if they are of interest.
