3:35 when my kittens are each other’s triggers. Also I love your content and I’m glad you’re making them again! I watched through all of it and revisited the neutering video since they just got neutered. Brought lots of peace of mind

I adopted a 4 month kitten about a week ago and she follows me everywhere and likes to sleep in the bed with me. When I turn off the lights she does go to sleep with me but then she wakes up at like 4:30 a.m. in play mode so I put her out my bedroom and close the door until I wake up at like 7 something. She usually either goes to the living room and jumps in window or stays by my door playing.

Really helpful video as always! A couple questions around food- how much wet food do you give him in the morning? My kitten can only eat about 1/6 can at a time, any more and she tries to “save it for later” which is cute but doesn’t work with wet food, lol! So for now I feed 1/6 can in the morning and 1/6 can at night. What time do you feed his dinner? Sounds like you are feeding him earlier and then giving a bit of kibble before bed? Does he finish his dinner quickly? I’m trying to enforce mealtimes but my kitten never finishes her kibble, even 2-3 hrs after a meal. Maybe leaving kibble out during the day is the better way. Oh and I’m not letting her sleep with me for now… she doesn’t seem to have zoomies at night but even the slightest movement wakes me up unfortunately.

Hey there! We used to feed him 1/2 a 3oz can for breakfast and then for dinner, but now only feed him 1/2 for breakfast. We feed him a fixed amount of dry kibble, but if he doesn’t finish, we leave it out during the day- he usually finishes most of it though and will just snack a bit after his afternoon nap! We feed him dinner around 5, and then put his “night” kibble out at 10/11.

@@katandcatschannel thanks! And Spike is able to finish the entire 1/2 can at a time? Do you feed him the same amount of kibble for breakfast and for dinner, or do you feed him less at breakfast because you also gave him wet food?

@@mizzle8 We've been noticing he's been eating less and less of the wet food (he surprisingly likes kibble better nowadays!) but he finishes most of the 1/2 can. We feed him a little less at breakfast since we feed him the wet food as well!

Hey I have a question,in one of your videos you mentioned not letting you cat sleep in the rook for the first 3 months you got him .So where should he sleep?Do I just put him in his bed and leave and go to sleep myself?Will he probably stay awake ?Should I get a cage and put his bed and litter in it? I’m really confused cuz I can’t find info on this anywhere...thanks

Hey there! We set up a space in his cat tower cave because he preferred that to his bed. Spike gets more anxious being locked up so we just let him have access to the whole living room at night, but I would always check on him when I would get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. He was totally fine not being in a crate- But it all depends on your cat’s personality. You could try letting your cat have access to the whole room and see how it goes
