Backfire Zealot S is a comprehensive upgraded version of backfire Zealot. There are obvious upgrades in all parts of the board.
The battery capacity has been upgraded from 311wh to 346wh, and the range has been upgraded from 28-36km to 32-40km.
The new belt power system has been upgraded from the previous Hobbywing dual 750W motor to Hobbywing dual 875w motor, and the torque and speed have been greatly improved.
ESC is upgraded to the latest high-end intelligent ESC of Hobbywing, with lower delay and stronger function. The new zealot s has a one button start function. Now you can start the Zealot S with one button, by clicking on the remote without bending down to start the skateboard.
In terms of board deck, the new board deck of Zealot S adopts Snowboard technology, which has higher strength, but also with the same flexibility and feeling as snowboards. The ambient light system will also change to very eye-catching purple lights
Next, the biggest upgrade comes. The Caliber Trucks that backfire has been using has brought you a very good experience. They are durable flexible and stable at the same time. But after years of electric skateboarding experience, backfire found that there was still room for improvement. On the Zealot S, Backfire will use a pair of 8-inch forged precision Flanker trucks developed independently by Backfire with forging + CNC technology. Believe us, the stability, strength and handling of this precision truck have risen up the board to a new level.
Over all, as we said, Backfire Zealot S is an upgraded version of Zealot, but it’s up graded to a whole new level.

Where is board ship from?

Can Backfire be used like a normal skateboard when it's out of power?
Yes, our boards are totally push friendly and will ride like a traditional skateboard when not on the throttle or when there is no battery.
Is my Backfire board waterproof?
The waterproof level of Backfire boards is IP55.
Riding over small puddles will not damage the board, nor will riding in light rain, however never submerge the board in the water and stop riding if the conditions lead to standing water on roads or track.
When you have finished riding in wet conditions it's important to dry the board off with a rag and then spin the wheels using the motor and remote for two minutes to remove any access water. If the board did go through deeper standing water it may be a good idea to remove the outer case and gentle towel dry any visible water and then leave the board in a warm dry place.
Never leave a wet board upside down in the damp or this can cause the water to bypass the seal and ingress into the electronics. Your remote should also be kept dry and warm after use in the rain.
