In 25 minutes, this guy harvested the raw feed, fed the pigs with well prepared food, let the chickens out, fed them, called the cow, fed her, milked the cow, prepared new feed afor the next day and gave us a full walk around tour of the farm animals and setup! In less than an hour! Respect 💪

@@vctrsone I watched the cow walk in, get milked and walk all the way to the shed and I noticed that you're comment is completely incorrect based on these observations: 1. She walked to the milking platform without limping 2. She stepped up on the platform effortlessly 3. She never held a hoof in the air as cows do when they're in pain 4. She stood still while being milked without constantly shifting her weight around 5. She walked all the way to the shed with no issues and even fought to eat some pig feed which shows spunk and health 6. She walked in uneven ground with no balance issues You're comment is completely wrong, ignorant and needlessly defaming. I would agree that maybe she could benefit from a hoof trim but overall, that cow is healthy and well cared for.

Perhaps we should ban all lions, tigers, bears, killer whales, dolphins, dogs, eagles, sparrows.....pigs (which are not herbivores but omnivores and eat anything, alive or dead), et cetera. Please don't assume or pigeonhole me with actions like "ignoring...". I am fully aware, as are my children and anyone else who I converse with. Had this video contained such uncomfortable truths, modern westerners, divorced as many are from the realities of living, would have fainted and got it banned. Like Ken Hom when he was teaching cooking at university, the students did not want to be faced with the reality of where food comes from. Though perhaps you prefer mass production of plant food, and the trillions of animal and insect lives that are wiped out with herbicides and insecticides? Or the enormous ecological damage done by implementing monocultures (bees anyone)? There are huge swathes of virgin rainforest in Borneo gone, replaced by palm oil plantations to feed the ravenous appetite of the vegetarian west. But not many seem bothered by the extinctions -(known and unknown, plant, animal and insect), caused by this.... Life is not clean or sanitary not will it ever be. Make your choice of food by all means, and justify it to yourself in whatever way you feel comfortable.

I'm a total suburban couch potato retired little old lady but I sure wish I was a couple of miles from your operation and had a contract for some of your pork and maybe some eggs. We now live in a semi-rural area but suburbia is infiltrating fast. There are some die hard serious farmers doing similar small holdings like yours, though, around here before the condos mow them down. One woman raising pigs explained how she had an arrangement with her neighbor who has an apple orchard where she lets her pigs eat windfalls to their hearts content for 2 months before whenever she slaughters. We met her at our area Farmers Market. Unfortunately, she'd spoken for all her meat for this Fall or our freezer would be full later on. Now, watching your operation I really regret not getting in touch with her earlier. I have always joked with people whenever someone makes a crack about the "Wprld's oldest profession". My correction is, "No, it's farming!" Who's right? Now, I couldn't help but notice that your gorgeous Jersey milk cow has a great need of a pedicure. . . does she get some hoof care at least once a year? My couch potato farming experise comes from watching the You Tube hoof trimmers too! Just what you need, right? Actually, I'm just curious--all your animals look so healthy and content, I'm being ridiculous.

Love ur farm so productive!! I just noticed your cow is sitting back a little bit on her feet! You may need to get her feet trimmed soon as they look a little long which in turn she’ll produce more milk because more comfortable feet means standing longer and eating longer! Happy fat animals though I love it!

You make this look so easy. The only thing I would change would be to move the engine that's driving the milker further away with longer tubes so it's not a constant loud noise right in the cow's face while she's getting milked. But geezus, this makes me wish I could start my own ranch.

@@TakotaCoen .. No you’re not a vegan. “Veganism is a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude-as far as is possible and practicable-all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of animals, humans and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals."
