Hi, i'll be getting a new puppy soon and wanted to know if a crate is necessary inside of the play pen? We'll have a crate beside our bed for night time, but a playpen in the common area. Thanks for your insight.

Hello! You don’t need a crate in enclosure unless it makes your puppy feel safer/more comfortable.
