While planning out travels through some very expensive countries, we found Trustedhousesitters.com. For a yearly fee, you can sign up to stay in someone's home while they are away in exchange for taking care of their home and animals. Our first stay was in Lachen, Switzerland. Luke, our host, stayed with us for a day to ensure we were comfortable. He bought us dinner and groceries for the week and took us on a hike! In Switzerland! This stay was so much more than we expected.

Thank you again, Luke! Although we spent nearly a year traveling around Europe, our week in Lachen is at the top! We will keep an eye out on housesitters for a posting. Give Ares a pet and scratch and the degus an almond from us.

Yeah everything going uphill is uphill but when going back it's downhill... hiking grand canyon might fit you better, you start downhill really fast and then you go back uphill if not paying for the helicopter....

I love your videos and you guys are experienced travellers, One question, What is the average cost to visit a country, I know it depends on the country but any range in total?

Thank you for watching! The range for the cost of travel is wide and depends on a lot of factors. If you travel like us, $75 a day on average is enough to eat, sleep and see the sights of the city.
