So sad. This story is a part of the reasons why Nigeria will not know peace because too many innocent people have been silenced for no cause whatsoever. Nigeria's history is one filled with oppresion. The evil ones will never go unpunished. Where is Ishaya Bamaiyi now? Forever silenced somewhere. Abacha's name is forever tainted.

Interviewer - this is not about what you know or not. We don't care about what you know. It is not supposed to be a referendum on what you know. Ask your questions and listen and then follow up with more questions if you need to.

Nigeria was merged together as one nation by Lord Luggard for their own benefits. They gave most powers to the northerners to intimidate other tribes by putting all the military installations in the north. Moses has no weapon, but leads thousands of Israelites from bondage. I think the gentle man should just say that he is not part of the coup and he has every reason to justify that as far as he is concerned. Only Diya and his fellow alleged conspirators can truthfully attest to that. Besides, why should Diya a Gen have to kneel in front of a far junior and major for that matter begging to survive. How did Diya got to know that Gen Bamaiyi is also part of the coup and he openly displayed that in the military tribunal by asking ''where is Bamaiyi?''
