All the comments here have been so positive I've been mulling for a while about an observation I've. For your sake and hers, I'm just going to come out and say it. You have to try and involve your daughter more. She looked very dejected when she saw you had done all the birthday prep alone. I once saw her wanting to break eggs for your breakfast and you just brushed her off. For kids that is a magical thing. It won't make you poor if she should waste an egg or two. Also, the video where you braided her hair came across as if you were treating her like a customer. She was a champ, no tears although that can be painful for a little girl. There was no high five or hug at the end of what is an ordeal for a little girl. I hope you get to read this. I am not saying this to break you down. You have a beautiful family. Keep it that way .Pay attention to all parts of it. You do excellently with your husband and baby. But you have to strengthen the bond with your little girl. She won't be a little girl for long. Then you would want to be her role model and significant other.
