i finished my xfactor hut moments and got the pack my dad walked in and said can i open it and he told me to close my eyes and he opende all 3 and got MCDAVID i oped 10 xfactor packs all year and got nothing he opens one and gets mcdavid

Would I not just want to keep my xfactors can I not just upgrade then to the same overall as the team of there year cards or even higher if higher cards are released. (I haven’t played since nhl 20 so this is my first nhl using xfactors)

Does saving packs work on NHL ? Like example on fifa, you’d save all champs and rivals rewards to open on TOTS, first year back since nhl 14 so not sure.

Is team of the year cards worth it if you only plan to play the game til April? Normally once winter ends I like to get out and go fishing so I usually just don't play HUT anymore as I just don't have the time anymore.

I disagree that they will be the same as the SOTM sets. I've kept a spread sheet for the past few years. I use it to track my collection and avoid overbuilding collectables. Last year's TOTY, FH, and TOTS sets were the same trade in value. Their collectables costs were different than the regular event sets. This year during FH, I noticed the FH collectable sets cost as much as the PUC. I believe TOTY's collectables will follow suit and be similar to PUCs

This video is just completely wrong. TOTY will function the same way as fantasy, which has the collectibles priced identically to making Power Up collectibles. Anyone looking to prepare, essentially see how many power up collectibles you can make with your collection, then budget each TOTY to cost what they did last year (40 from scratch and 22 with XF). Also keep in mind that there will likely be an 87 trade in set, fot those that have 87+ UT cards to trade in. Note: Just to be clear, don't actually make power ups, they will cost the same so just do the math on how many you *could* make.
