The past 25-30 years in China will be known as some of the biggest waste of resources mankind has seen. All the EVs plus solar panels and the coal power plants. It all adds up, and the numbers aren't positive.

Slava Ukraini translates to "glory to Ukraine" or "victory to Ukraine" in the context of the war. You thought it was universally used word huh? 😂 You can't just throw random words around in a different language without knowing how and when to use it 😂😂

The housing crisis in China has raised significant concerns about its potential impact on the broader economy. If the crisis continues to escalate, it could have far-reaching consequences. Here’s a breakdown of the potential outcomes and their implications: Will the Housing Crisis in China Lead to the Collapse of Its Broader Economy? The housing sector is a critical component of China’s economy, accounting for a substantial portion of GDP and providing employment to millions. A collapse in this sector could trigger a chain reaction affecting banks, investors, and consumers, potentially leading to a broader economic downturn. However, China’s government has historically been adept at intervening to stabilize the economy, so a total collapse may be avoided, though significant economic strain is likely. Impact on the U.S. and Other Western Nations The interconnected nature of the global economy means that a severe economic downturn in China could have ripple effects worldwide: #1. Trade. China is a major trade partner for many countries. A slowdown in its economy could reduce demand for imports, impacting exporters globally, including those in the U.S. and Europe. #2. Supply Chains. Many global supply chains are heavily reliant on Chinese manufacturing. Disruptions in China could lead to delays and increased costs for companies worldwide. #3. Financial Markets. Global financial markets could experience increased volatility due to uncertainties arising from China’s economic issues. Can China Afford to Go to War with Taiwan? Engaging in a conflict with Taiwan would be economically and politically costly for China. Given the current economic challenges, including the housing crisis, the strain on resources would be substantial. The Chinese government might prioritize domestic stability and economic recovery over external military engagements, considering the potential for further economic destabilization and international sanctions. Thanks for asking 🙂

Basically, China is falling into a deflationary cycle. Thus, private wealth based on real property values is evaporated, and thus, domestic consumption is contracting. State owned banks are carrying massive amounts of debt. They basically are becoming Insolvent or bankrupt. So, foreign investment will dry up since domestic demand is contracting. India is increasingly looking like a better area to move part of the supply chain and easier to move profits from domestic sales for foreign companies. China demographic statistics also reflect A contraction. The future stability of financial risks is dramatically increasing, and the potential economic growth is shrinking rapidly. The future for China is dim at best!!!!

The US has a debt figure well beyond the mark of 30 TRILLION, so 800+ billion China is holding accounts for less than 3%. Even tiny states like Luxemburg hold over 300 billions for the US is still a safe country for investments, but also a very lucrative one with higher interest rates than the EU for instance. And the terms to maturity of the bond can be up the several years, even ten years and longer.

One can compare the Chinese real estate crash to the Lehman bros 2008 crash. The 2008 crash was caused by the US but the recession was global. The Chinese crash is much smaller. The other diff is how the govt is handling the crash. In the US the govt pass an 800 billion dollar bailout bill. Socialism/bailout for the rich. In China the company was forced to liquidate, no bailout for the rich. But the China real estate problem is much smaller than the 2008 global crash. It should have a relatively small effect on the global economy.

No the Chinese crisis dwarfs the US real estate crisis - evergrande is only the tip of the iceberg. Multiple Developers are cumulatively trillions of dollars in default , & as a result , local govt’s in China are trillions more dollars in default b.c they’re almost solely dependent on RE development for tax revenue. And of course countless 100s of millions of Chinese went broke when their investment apartments were not built after the developers went bankrupt. The US real estate crash was overcome relatively quickly, but due to the magnitude of the 1 in China relative to the size of their economy, its scale is more like that of the Japanese real estate bubble that popped in the 90s, & in turn its aftereffects will be just as long lasting & dire, if not even more so

Capitalism 101: For a healthy capitalism that government should not bail out failed companies because it will eat away taxpayers dollars paying wealthy investors and fail again at a later date. What government should do is mediate between banks and investors, let failed companies go through bankruptcy, reorganize the projects and resell all the assets to distribute funds evenly among all investors.

Grim projections and a lot of China hate. But a little history would tell you that GDP number don't equate to economic struggle. Japan remains a very strong economy even today, even if they are struggling with the Yen depreciation and negative trade now, a bit of gloom but not doom. Almost every country with some free market economy will experience recurring bubbles and bust, and this is not China first bust. China is having some serious over supply of property, with declining population property business is not going up again any time soon. But property is not the only game in town. Nobody should be happy about a Chinese economic collapse, especially its neighbours. If US history is any predictor, conflicts generate jobs and money. You may be looking at the future America.

@@olderchin1558no evidence that you’re telling the truth about visiting Japan multiple times or working for Fujitsu. Furthermore , you clearly know nothing about what’s currently going on in China - plenty of exposes have provided more than enough evidence of the fact that hundreds of billions of dollars of industrial assets have moved out of China to SE Asia, Mexico, and US; and even worse for China, various real estate developers are cumulatively 10s of trillions of dollars in default, & as a result, local govts that are dependent primarily on RE sales for tax revenue are also trillions of dollars in default. So objectively, there’s no way to draw any conclusion other than China will be screwed economically for a long time to come . The US , on the other hand, has experienced an industrial renaissance over the last few years on a scale not seen since WW2, & our unemployment rate is light years below China’s . Never mind the fact that China doesn’t have anything like Medicare, Medicaid, or social security, meaning that their demographic bomb of rapidly aging population ensures that countless millions of old people there will starve unless their kids provide for them entirely
