Drop Tai Otoshi...is always a surprising technique to everyone...when TIME & EXPLOSION... for this particular execution is missed calculated during kumite ( because some time is happen ) ...mentally, I "recalculate/ readjust " fast my body's position & steps for drop Seoi Nage. Well demonstrated in this class. Oss !

My favourite technique. I "invented" it for myself in a tournament many years ago. I went for tai otoshi and just instinctively dropped and threw my opponent. I have been working it ever since. Thanks for the video!

Tai Otoshi is one of my favorites, so I'm glad I can add a drop version to my list of variations. Love the technique you demonstrate, sensei!

Great video sensei! Good that you teach how to do the stading version as well. I have a doubt sensei....Those kneeling versions of techniques could hurt you knee cap, no? Im not sure if its a good habit drop to your knee to throw. To me it looks like a shortcut to learn the real technique. It could be valid to athletes who must win, but for those who are not I dont think its worth the risk of hitting their knee cap over and over and getting a chronical pain. Or that could be done safely? What do you think Nakano-sensei?

If it hurts, I wouldn't recommend this one because this is more for competition. Thanks for your comment and support!

If it hurts for you, let's not use it too often, or you can practice properly for a weeks at least and see how it goes. Thanks for your comment and support!
