As a Bayern Fan all I can say is that Leverkusen has been by far the toughest opponent Bayern has faced this season, their press is smothering and their playing style very attractive

I love Klopp, but as a Liverpool fan growing up in the early 2000's, I wouldn't love nothing more than seeing Alonso be the one taking over from Klopp. Especially the way he had to leave because of Benitez's wheeling and dealing, it was heartbreaking at that time.

Great Leverkusen Team, but i will also mentioning VFB Stuttgart. they play also a really attractive football, after faceing relegation last season and loosing three keyplayers (mavropanos, sosa and endo) and are in the shadow of leverkusen but also very good, with maybe the hottest striker in the bundesliga guirassy.

I watched their replay europa league last night. His formation is like traditional 442 system. Playing like MU 1999 2002 2006 2007. He allowed his winger to do dribbling. Its enjoyed to watch actually. Nowadays manager always want to keep possession and most winger will pass pass and boring.

Sincerely hope Leverkusen can win the Bundesliga to mix things up, however I think Bayern’s greater strength in depth will tell over the season, especially when Leverkusen get injuries to key players.

That's funny because the one big weakness Bayern has this season is their depth. The biggest problem for Leverkusen is gonna be Afcon and the fact that Bayern will probably sign 2-3 players in winter.

@@yaneyd93I know Bayern have issues of their own with squad depth, especially in midfield, but they still have Gnabry and De Ligt (when fit) on their bench. Bayern will also strengthen in January, which is why I said over the season their greater strength in depth will tell.
