Yama Buddha is a Nepali rapper who changed Nepali Rap forever (Nephop), a man from a very normal family background. The people of Nepal had a bad image of Nepali Rap, and he helped change that perspective. He introduced the super sensational and famous Rap battle show RawBarz, which made a lot of rappers famous. I've noticed that KZfaqrs like Misguided Nepal and other young rappers often focus on portraying Yama Buddha as only legend in Nephop rather than acknowledging the contributions of older rappers like Grish Khatiwoda and other artists from the early 2000s. Misguided Nepal, for instance, tends to overlook classic rap songs such as "Ma Yesto Ma Testo Chu," "Timi Jaha Pani Jan Chau," and "Hamro Gauli Jiwan," which were equally popular during that time as "Saathi." While Yama Buddha undoubtedly made significant contributions to the Nephop industry and is technically superior to many older artists, it's important not to forget to respect and acknowledge the pioneers. Without their influence, the Nepali Nephop audience wouldn't be as large as it is today.
