Thank you. The map I was recording was a bit blurry when I would pan and zoom. This solved the problem. I cranked it to 400 dpi!

This was a great video. It would be really helpful if you named your layers. It's hard to keep track of the work you have done.

Silly Question, how do I save after done? Great video, very helpful. Also, do I have to export first and save before I go into changing the background?

File/Save. Do all your work in Affinity Photo, then when you are happy with it save it as an Affinity Photo file (the default) and then export the final image to whatever format you need.

This is a little off- topic, but I've heard that Photoshop Elements (Camera Raw) is a better RAW developer than is Affinity Photo (Develop Persona); can you tell me why? I have your PSE 2020 Course DVD's, and like them a lot; is there any need for the Elements+ add-on for PSE, if one also has Affinity Photo? ?Can AP be added to PSE as a filter, the way Luminar 4 can?

Hi Bill! The Adobe Camera Raw is better than the Affinity Photo if you really dig into the stats, but I doubt that you would actually see the difference in real life. There are quite a few neat features in Elements+ that get added to Photoshop Elements, many of those are things that aren't added to your toolset by using Affinity Photo. Personally I use all 3. No, there is no way to add Affinity Photo as a plugin to Photoshop Elements.

Thanks Bill, different parts of the country pronounce words differently, I will stick with my pronunciation. In the UK it is pronounced pol-LYG-onal, in California it is poly-GON-al. But then again the UK also says Alu-minium and we say A-lum-inum. Too much for me to worry about.

The different Personas in Affinity Photo can be confusing. Only the Photo Persona has the document tab. in the upper left corner you will see 2 Affinity Photo logos, the lower one is for the Photo Persona, click on that and you will find the document tab.
