Got lowered L and R riders foot pegs, installed a digital charge meter, bought a full set of OEM colour matched Honda clamshell hard bags, put a taller windscreen on it and ran Michelin Pilot 2 tires...some very good wet road traction from those tires ...and I kept the most beautiful exhaust sytem on any bike ever..I can't believe some owners yank em and go to a one sided single can ... Honda designed the Interceptor for fast touring and I used ine for that West Coast to Ontario CA and Back, Southeast BC to Dawson City Yukon and a thousand other road trips all around the Candian Rockies and Pacific North West which has 100% best twisties, elevation changes and scenerey on beautifully paved roads where you might encounter only two or three other vehicle in a half day tide. Eastern USA has "tail of the Dragon"...which is fine if you like your ride in near bumper to bumper traffic.

Seems like you have a cool looking bike there and the right place to ride! I agree with you about standard exhaust. I have a silver set of Honda hard luggage panniers with mine. Great kit! Thanks mate for watching the vid and your support!

Cheers Richard. You don’t need to spend a lot today for a great bike. Hope you find a nice bike when the times come.

I’ve fitted a Scottoiler to my VFR, saves having to manually oil regularly plus increases chain life by around 100%

Thats great tip.Does it fling much onto the back wheel? It's probably worth the wiping off now and again! Thanks for watching and your support!

@@andrewonmyway8184 It does put some oil onto the wheel but the amount it dispenses is adjustable so it isn’t a problem at all.

Sorry Andrew but that's an incorrect chain tensioner description unless your bike is totally different spec than the UK 🤓you don't tension the chain that way, there's a pinch bolt behind the sprocket to loosen off and then you use a C spanner to rotate the wheel forwards or backwards to get the tension you require then torque the pinch bolt back up to secure the wheel ..👌

Hi thanks for watching. I have not mentioned any information regarding chain tensioning here only that I had fitted a new one. Cheers !

Hi Andrew,sorry I posted my comment to another of your videos by mistake the one about 10 things you like about the VFR. It's my mistake as I'd watched two different videos and got mixed up..Still incorrect on how to tension the chain in said video btw.. 🏍️

I noticed you have a higher windscreen. Are you satisfied and how tall are yo? Is there much buffeting?
@andrewonmyway8184

I am 186cm or just over 6ft. The higher screen does help but and I still get buffeting unless I crouch down behind. Thanks for watching!

I'm also 186cm tall, and this is exactly the info I was looking for. Thanks 👍

Can recommend the MRA Vario screen if you're looking for a decent upgrade to the vfr stock one. The spoiler creates laminar flow (you don't try to use it to kick the air above your helmet, you adjust it to smooth the air) and stops all buffeting I've ever had. Literally makes 70mph seem like 30mph in terms of wind buffeting and was a must when I went on a tour around Europe on mine.

Great mods! Question: you replaced the reg rec with a version that only has 1 connector plug, unlike the OEM version which has 2 connectors. I also did this but the bike's engine temp guage now is all over the place with false readings. Perhaps the 2nd plug on the original reg rec is still required to facilitate engine temps. I dont know how to overcome this problem with the exact same reg rec I fitted that you have fitted. Can you offer some advice?

The wire connector which is left over is purely for future accessories and nothing to do with engine temps.. I just put el tape over mine to protect. Sounds like you have a problem with the temp sensor or a bad earth near that sensor. I would check the wiring for the temp sensor. Then the termosensor. These get a battering and don't last for ever. I would also make show you have the correct amount of coolant in the resevoir tank too. A lot of people forget to check the resevoir! Good luck to you!

Can barely hear you. Don't remember sound being an issue on your previous videos. Have you serviced the rear hub?

Emissions pressures.. Really mess up the bike below 5500rpm. Ditch them, you wont regret it ;o)
