I follow THE A-C-T-S of prayer 🙏 for most prayers. ADORATION of our sovereign God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) - CONFESSION (Temper, Messing up, etc) - THANKSGIVING (Thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ) - SUPPLICATION (ASK anything IN God's WILL be done and it shall be given to you; on God's TIME)

May God always bless you and yours. I'm originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee. I now reside in Minnesota and am 67 years old. I found you about a year ago, and your videos have changed my life. I thank you. I am an old fat Dutchman, and your word has helped untold numbers of people. I was originally Southern Baptist. Married my wife 41 years ago and became Lutheran. I really appreciate your ability to relate the teachings of the Bible to us all. I pray all listen! ❤

Lol I grew up southern Baptist here in central Oklahoma. Only our pastor taught us that we're all going to hell every time we sin. Like "if you do a bad thing, God's sending you straight to hell!" It was awful when I became a teenager in the eighties. There were 5 of us kids and we were poor. My church clothes were out of style and any dress shoes I had were way too big as were the pantie hoses under them on my feet. The teenagers there were always whispering about how poor I looked. Church became a fashion show from the toddlers all the way up to the elderly. And you could forget about the Holy Spirit, who was that even because we were never taught that He was in us for today's time. As an adult my husband and I had a horrible accident happen, we were blamed for a country fire that took out 16,000 acres of farm land plus 10 homes one being my aunts home that they left unattended while they were in the military living in Ohio. Family reunions were awful for years after. Our small town hated us and our kids had gone to the local school since 1st grade. We had been smoking a chicken on our enclosed smoker and somehow the grass caught fire and spread like crazy fast. As we awaited being fined for all the damage we held our heads down in shame. But it never came. They even called me the "chicken lady" on a major news channel here in Oklahoma. Later we found out we weren't charged because our neighbors were actually burning their trash. So it wasn't our fault but no retraction came from the news or paper. Still feeling ashamed my husband's co-worker was heaven sent, he told us to come to his church and let them and Jesus heal our hearts. Calvary Way in Prague Oklahoma a Pentecostal like church introduced us to the real Holy Spirit and Jesus' true love. Jesus healed our hearts, family and friends. I even got blessed with the gift of tongues after 3 yrs of attending that church. Getting that teaching of the southern Baptist out of my DNA wasn't easy it kept making me feel like I would never be good enough. Now at 54 I know better and once I started seeking Jesus with all of my heart, I fell completely in love with Jesus. He is first in my life and is teaching me so much. My apologies for such a long reply. I know that not all churches are like the one I grew up in and I pray that all those teenagers from my childhood have found the true loving Lord Jesus that we have. God bless you always 🤗

Psalms 43:1-5 [1]Declare me innocent, O God! Defend me against these ungodly people. Rescue me from these unjust liars. [2]For you are God, my only safe haven. Why have you tossed me aside? Why must I wander around in grief, oppressed by my enemies? [3]Send out your light and your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live. [4]There I will go to the altar of God, to God-the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God! [5]Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again- my Savior and my God!

Same with me. Sometimes I just can’t articulate what I’m trying to say to Father or Jesus. I can’t remember if it was this pastor or a different pastor, but one of them taught me that anyone can ask Holy Spirit to help you pray, and pray intercessory for you too. Apparently, it is scripturally correct to ask Holy Spirit for the help because it says Holy Spirit will pray in groanings for you but Jesus and the Father will understand your prayer. I try not to ask Holy Spirit too much but if I can’t focus my thoughts, I focus on my heart and ask for His help. I love Holy Spirit. ✨💖💪✝️🕊️💨💖✨

I always feel like a terrible prayer too, but I just know I have expectations of myself and I don't meet them. I feel inadequate, but Jesus said we didn't have to pray long prayers, as The Father knows what we're going to pray before we do it. God bless you.

I’m so glad I’m not alone in this, I’m 63 and new to Christ and I feel like a terrible prayer, like I’m a teenager as well. I have always spoken to God my entire life, almost like a conversation in my head. I’m thinking that was a form of praying? Anyways, I really would like to become a better prayer in my head as well as out loud. I like some of the comments: “ the Holy Spirit is our intercessor”. He will know our heart and find the words on our behalf’s.

I used to believe exactly what the pastor was saying in the beginning of this video. Until I started seeking Jesus with all of my heart. In reading my Bible trying to get to really know Jesus I found that God doesn't bring the bad, God brings the good from the bad. Life is life, it's beautiful and amazing but it's also horrible and awful. I know that God doesn't want us sad, sick or in pain. Read your Bible for yourself and if you have a pastor that teaches biblical truth, hold on to that pastor. They are becoming far and few between 😢. Thank God I have the Holy Spirit within me, He leads me and has taught me so much. I've still got a lot to learn. God bless you my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, may we all meet in heaven very soon 🤗🤗🤗

I asked God about this once so I love animals and have had pets, felt like He said to me “There were animals in heaven even before the Earth was formed” - so many books of the Bible point to there being animals in heaven (Revelation) and there will be in the New Heavens and New Earth too 🌏 🐾 I actually feel close to God when I’m with animals, they’re a beautiful part of His creation and called them “Good” in the book of Genesis ❤

I agree with Pastor Nolan on prayers and how we allow God's will be done in our lives here on earth as it is in heaven. We oath as well to teach our children the habit of prayeful life so God's will also be done in our children's lives. There is also what we call God's permissive will just as what happen in the story of Job in the bible, inspite of Job has been found righteous in God's presence, however, God allowed the devil to put Job into test to prove the devil wrong, thus, God exercise His permissive will for God's glory and honor. We may say Job has become the victim of God's permissive will inspite of Job's being a righteous person before God, the reason why God restored Job his life double portion, after Job overcame the effect of the devil's challenge with God against Job. The very reason why we chosen ones of God being born-again Christians always are the target of the devil here on earth, all the more we oath to embrace a prayerful life, so as to allow God's will be done in our lives all the time, here on earth as it is in heaven. God bless us always my brothers and sisters in Christ our Lord God Jesus our Savior King.

I think the problem is that we tend to think in absolutes when trying to comprehend the incomprehensible nature of God. Yes, God is sovereign and his Will is ultimate, BUT we have a free will of our own. The fact that we have a free will does NOT mean that our wills, albeit our own, does not bend the the ultimate will of God In other words, the answer sometimes is yes AND no

Matthew 6:5-10,12,11,13 [5]“When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get. [6]But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. [7]“When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. [8]Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! [9]Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. [10]May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. [12]and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. [11]Give us today the food we need, [13]And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.

A couple of years ago I was praying about a decision. I prayed for over a year. to myself and God so Satan couldn’t hear. I told God you know I have a problem knowing if it’s your will so if it is possible for you to give me a sign such as an unusual animal, that I can know you approve of this decision. I went to the door of a $4 million house and coming down from the porch I was chased by a 300lb pig… they had a pet with a collar on. I said Thank you God… That decision fell apart and cost me $4000 I couldn’t get back. So what is the point of praying if God doesn’t give you a clear answer?

I love to listen to pastor Allen, but I do not agree with the Free Will after the Fall. If it were true, our decision to believe is the work of our own and not of Grace. It takes me a long, long time to come to this conclusion. Everything happens to me in my journey of life He know because He have the foreknowledge. I was sensitive to His call of repentance through the Holy Spirit because He have chosen me as His own.I am the sheep of His pasture and recognized His voice only whereas others just roam free in this corrupt world await jugement.

Please, you keep saying Adam. God did not just give the authority to subdue the earth and have dominion over it to Adam alone. He gave it to BOTH Adam and Eve. Genesis 1: 28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Satan is insanely jealous of God because Satan only has the power to kill but God can conceive life by spirit. Satan can only conceive life by LUST. And God can ressurrect life. Satan cannot do this. When you pray you must go through Jesus Christ. Many people pray to a God who is Satan. There are many many Angels of Satan. God has allowed Satan because God gave us a choice or free will. Sometimes we believe God has let us down. No no no the fear in our nature has let us down. Or our greed in our nature has let us down. Or our jealousy in our nature has let us down. We do have an animal nature but we have a soul and spirit of God. There is always a constant struggle between serving our animal nature and our Godly potential. Spirit of Truth

If our actions or motives are not of love and care for the other person you could be motivated by your nature and not your Godly potential. Jesus Christ was a man but he was born of the spirit of God so he had no jealousy envy lust greed deception fear and guilt in his nature. Nothing to tempt him. The Holy Ghost that comes in Jesus's name and who he she is by inheritance is the third because they were born of natural sex and not God's Spirit.

I disagree with the name being translated to Jehovah . That's a whole new name . There's no need for name translation at all . When you go to another country where English isn't spoken do the people translate YOUR name? I think not . Your name is YOUR name . In Yahusha's name Amen .

I disagree with your Gen 1:27 we were NOT made in Gods image. The “God” H430 is NOTthe “Lord God”. The “hebrew word 430 is Elohim which Strongs says is “of” the supreme God it is a magistrate or sometimes an angel (Satan was an angel) that little word “of” sure does change things. The Lord God “formed” Adam in gen 2 from the “dust” He breathed into a Adam and gave him a living soul. (One with a conscious, knowing right and wrong) the Elohim of gen 1 is the angel Satan this is where he made the serpent race part of the “hosts” the army to carry out satans role here on this earth. If people want to know what is really being said in the Bible you need to take it word by word useing the “Strongs Concordance” to define what the words really say. Every word in the Bible has a “H” letter after it meaning “Hebrew word” and a number. People “think and or guess what the Bible is saying and that’s our main problem. The Bible takes on a whole new meaning when you use Strongs. It makes you learn the words right.

I could never believe that because that’s the same as believing that God causes bad and evil things to happen. I know that’s NOT TRUE. Only good things come from God. All bad things come from Satan and his minions. So I’ve never believed that Calvinistic view you’re speaking about. I was raised in a very conservative church of Christ in TN. My parents were very strict, but we didn’t believe that stuff you’re talking about. Probably because we study the scriptures so much.
