If I had to choose one item in my wardrobe that I could never part with, it's the white t-shirt. It's a forever classic, everybody has one (probably multiple), and it's arguably the most versatile piece of clothing you can own. As such, you probably want to make sure yours fits impeccably and is made of quality materials that will stand the test of time. And in today's video, we go over exactly how your white t-shirt should fit, from the width to the sleeve length, waist size, we're nailing down everything.

I never wear t-shirt except under a sweater. I avoid regular crew and v-neck t-shirts altogether because I just don't like the look. I like polos and henleys much better. Since white and black make me looked washed out, I usually go either earth tones or blues/greens.

Reigning champ is my white tee pick, tried a lot of brands, really like it’s athletic fit but not too tight also with the extra length so even after a wash with natural shrinkage it still fits nice

Honestly bro..a plain white tee sounds boring/simple but it really is my favorite thing to wear. Its like the more options you have, the more you like the basics. Its all about how you style them

It would be great if you could cover different body types. All these are good advice but pretty basic and sometimes you have your belly sticking out or it's too tight or too loose in some places.

I have this fit problems especially with Uniqlo's U cotton tees. Medium shirts fit well but fall short on the length. Large ones feels like im wearing a dress

On average, how many times do you wear each piece of clothing? I find it really hard to maintain something as plain as a white t shirt, either from stains and dirt or just generally getting washed out

Try buying earth tones....those have been my longest lasting colors...even shades of navy work well too

Man its really hard to be an in between size guy, my size is in between small and medium but i usually go for medium because it has more room in the chest but the downside is medium shirts are pretty long (because im short af), 26 inches is the ideal length for me but they're rare on small size, medium sizes usually have 27-28 inches length

I have a couple of question about fitting. 1- If for example someone chest measurements is 51, Should they enter the same number when choosing a tshirt? Or would add to it to make it "slim" fitting not "tight"? Got this one: the mentioned sized are for the *tshirt* itself that we can get from another tshirt we have. And it's slightly different from the *body* measurements. --------------------------------------- 2- why is there a different Choices for "size type"? Would it make difference whether the garment is tshirt, sweatshirt, ..etc? I think: different garments will have different fitting. But i still don't get why "Son of a Tailor" offer different "size type" when entering the body data (weight, height, age) --------------------------------------- 3- what's exactly the difference between "oversized" fit and 2 sizes bigger tshirt? Considering that the "oversized" would have everything oversized. Didn't find the answer yet. Still looking. --------------------------------------- Thank you Tim, the fitting videos are so damn great. Do more of them please. It would be so great if you make fitting videos for all different garments such as sweaters, jackets, pants and trousers, and *formal clothing*. And at last, the shoes.

Any 5ft1~ guys out there who have a cheap easy solution to the perfect Tee's? One's I have always worn have usually been too long and have fallen past the crotch area (yet arm and chest area is fine). Do I go for cheaper Tee's or slightly more expensive/quality Tee's and get them tailored to be shorter?
