Thanks for the vid, def a challange on my candy washing machine. Found using washing up liquid on the edge of the drum helped heaps!

Thanks a lot. The spring-ring inside came off. Fixed in a couple minutes. Saved me a ton of frustrations. NEVER EVER buy a Candy "Smart" Washing Machine. Nothing but trouble! Too many issues to name here!

It's a bit harder on a washer/dryer because the hot air inlet makes it tricky to refit the internal band after the seal is in place. So you need to have the band flopping about in the way while you refit the seal, or take the band part and refit afterwards, or what I did was fit the seal and then disconnect the hot air feed and get the band over the top of the protrusion on the seal.

Hi, I just did it on my Candy tx101. It seems everything ok, but now the drum scrape over the seal, producing a bad sound.. already double-checked all the seal permiter and it seems ok. Don't know how to resolve. Maybe the drum can be regulated a little backward? Thanks!

We have a candy washing machine GO FS 262.... my husband has taken the gasket off and is having trouble putting it on - but ours doesnt look like yours ?

Bitch of a job to do on my hoover machine, ended up taking the drum out. Was no way to get to that clamp, it was down the bottom'ish of the drum.

Just done a Candy grand vita. Took 6 hands (3 people) to hold the seal in place on inner drum whilst getting spring type seal cable on.

Newer ones are even worse. Not only do they not come off the fronts but they have replaced the inner band with a sprung one with no ratchet so it's permanently tensioned

make sure you have the band the right way round and the seal is fitted correctly. @@How-to-repair I see you asked this question 6 years ago, If your having the same problem as me then you're still trying to fit the gasket... lol Try washing up liquid on the seal.... it helps.
