I'm not a boomer. I'm gen X. I remember in the late 80's, early 90's when Howard started to become hot on the radio. There was no internet and hardly anyone had a computer. The work force was more the old-school model back then, commuting every day, working 9 to 5. I'm driving to work and already stressing about upcoming problems. I discover this guy on the radio saying the most outrageous things I'd never heard anyone say before. And it's laugh-out-loud funny! All of a sudden there's something to rely on every morning to take my mind off my job, loosen up, and make me laugh, so I can face the day. Yes, it was raunchy, combative and even vulgar. But you know what? So was my workplace! Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. That's what I remember.

No, it's clearly a wig. And as for the comment above...I'm sure nobody wants him to be able but he IS bald. And the only reason people care enough to point it out is because of the fact that he made a career out of bashing other peoples looks, including their hair. There are plenty of wig wearing celebs who nobody cares about but Howard is a hypocrite and a liar. If he can't take it then he shouldn't have dished it out.

I used to think this was his real hair...now looking at it I'm almost convinced 100 percent that's a wig ..not that it matters, but there seems to be a long running discussion about his hair. if you look at Howard pre and post this era, his hair is completely different in texture, thickness, type of hair, and etc. I would argue that he wasn't wearing a wig, but I think I was wrong. looks good though either way

It literally never occurred to me it was a wig..I just thought he was blessed...then I look and his hair is totally different now..I get it that men's hair thins etc, but his hair is a totally different type of hair now...now i am able to spot wigs because I'm at the age where very few of us are blessed with full heads...my mother is in her 70s and has the hair of a 30 year old...thick and long...she is lucky...I am thankful to take after her , but I my hair is nowhere near Howard's on larry king...then it finally hit me...everyone was right...thats a f%#&ing wig.....I don't think he wears one now though...he has kind of normal hair for an older guy at this point so I can't see wearing a wig to look like the way his hair looks now....what do you think?

Howard was one of if not the most entertaining entertainer I have ever indulged. I watch old episodes every day. I've been doing so for years. I watch private parts every few months. I am constantly listening to archived shows but I don't dare watch anything after like 2012 or so. I have but it is so depressing. It truly makes me think something very sinister controlling the industry like never before. It's like people are under mind control or some shit!! I mean I understand change and progress but something is off. Way off.

Always found the film 'Private Parts' so strange. Just as you think it's got a great momentum and is building to something really interesting, it ends. Jut as I was starting to really enjoy it...it could've done with another 30 mins to see how far his career actually goes (not the way his actual career has gone now lol, interminable and unlistenable, but at least until, say, 1994) when he still had gravitas and credibility. Even could've included, dare I say it, a little bit more of Baba Booey and Jackie (no Stuttering John though - he is a moron...).It's rare I complain ends too suddenly (usually they're too long/boring), but here it just let like he torpedoed something as it was getting good (like when cuts Artie off too hastily during an gloriously epic drug story lol)

I think howard looked his best here. He got a nose job towards the end of filming. I was surprised the movie only made 40 million. It cost 25 m to make plus 15 m for promotions. It has a lot of future names in it paul giamatti, allison janey , edie falco, john Stamos, carol alt, the eldest daughter of modern family, jenna Jameson emily bishop & camille grammar. I think shooting in nyc made this budget so expensive. They should have gone to jersey or ct . Also the studio payed for an apt in nyc which is crazy since he lived in long island which is his commute anyway to the studio bc he was doing the show & shooting.
