Underrated how? She co-hosted The Tonight Show, had her own show, & is considered one of the greatest comedians of all time and a pioneering female comedienne.. she’s not underrated at all.

The best appearance was one of her last. The story about her date croaking during dinner was absolutely brilliant. She was the GOAT. No doubt.

Look up Joan Rivers confronting Darcus Howe where she obliterates him. She was hilarious and also didn’t suffer fools. You can tell there was deep respect between Howard and Joan.

Joan Rivers was everything that a comedian should be. She was pure genius. For anyone who has not seen Joan's documentary, "A Piece of Work", I highly recommend it. It would be hard to find anyone who has worked as tirelessly as Joan Rivers.

Oh sure, everybody loves Joan now. But I remember around 10 years ago a period of time when Joan would come on the show about once a month. And all of the online misogynistic bullies were coming after her, calling her boring, unfunny, a hack, etc. I absolutely loved it every time she appeared anywhere - whether it was Howard's show, QVC, the red carpet, etc. And her standup shows were always savage, hilarious and uncompromising right to the end. Legend right to the end.

Mr. Stern, I f'n love you! Of course my 1st introduction to you was the shock jock slant, but growing up in the liberal Bay Area we were fortunate enough to see the tv show. And although the N word has been a constant over the years, you've never promoted, or taken umbrage with it. And in my heart of hearts, I believe if Ms. Quivers didn't receive a deal she found suitable this shit would've been over many moons ago. Non Sequitur, but, when I moved to Vegas in 98' I would be up at 3 for the live stream burnin' a joint and drinkin' a beer.😆 Don't know how to put it in the proper context, but that's the reason I witnessed the second plane crash into the second twin towers.😢 Love all you guys for making me better.💕💪🏾🇺🇲
