Howdie is the author of ‘Falling For Truth’ and ‘the Power Of Then.’ His first job was working as a professional comedian. When he heard an ex-girlfriend had been murdered it left him shattered and a deep questioning started inside him. His journey led him to study the ancient Egyptians and to work with some very powerful teachers. He realised that he could never know what the ancients were building and doing because he was thinking like a modern human. To understand the ancient past he had to think like the ancients.
In 2005 he had an accident when he nearly drowned. As a result of this he saw reality completely differently.
Howdie talks us through his life, his accident, his realisations, and his process of integration.

I wanted to thank Iain and everyone at conscioustv for inviting me on. As always Iain gave a great interview and was so well prepared. Hopefully there is one or two things we discussed that give you some new concepts to think over. We did add 3 minutes on the mind and hypnosis to the end of the interview, so there is a bit more after we say our good byes. I have been watching interviews on conscioustv for the last 7 or 8 years, and it was an honour for me to talk with all of you about my odd and challenging spiritual journey.

Howdie Mickoski Talks this was really a great interview. I appreciate what you shared in the last few moments of the talk. I have had this incredible sense of just needing to unplug from everything for a while, such as the constant connection to the internet, for example. Thank you for sharing your experiences! I watched the other video on doing a recapitulation, and this sounds very interesting because I’ve learned I don’t always see things as they are ( or perhaps I never do). I may consider doing this probably not as extensively as you did, but perhaps reviewing the day and a few key experiences from the past. Thanks again for sharing!

I have been watching consciousTV for many years. This interview really connected with some things that I have experienced. I have been in spirit seeking for decades. I had a moment in 2008 when I suddenly flashed on "what if everything that anyone ( including spiritual teachers and mentors, lovers, well meaning teachers, family and guides) ever told me was truly not the truth? Wow!! since then things have been unraveling. My curiosity in this conversation is that you seem so certain that there is a " correct way" to rebuild the personality. I am interested in that because it seems that my "emptiness" is now woven in with old patterns.

Thank you for this wonderful interview. It's funny how the universe works, I live in Norway too and yesterday I asked if I could be guided to someone to whom I could talk to about some "new seeing" that came in yesterday. You are tapping into it in your last words Howdie. The TAT group was mentioned, is it something functioning here where there are meetings in presence or only online? Thank you again Howdie and Conscioustv for bringing out these important talks

I drop in to your interviews from time to time because that's how it works best for me and, I have to say that you, Iain, just get sweeter and sweeter. I heard a podcast in which Howdie described an experienced he had with a Korean healer. Howdie lay naked on a bed face down while the healer slapped him gently with some sort of paddle. Howdie said that the healer told him that everybody has two snakes living inside them, a positive snake and a negative snake. The healer was slapping the bad snake to lessen it's influence. He said that he didn't remove the bad snake completely and that the rest of the process was up to Howdie. I wonder if it was possible for the healer to remove the bad snake completely and if so what would have happened. Has anybody else heard that podcast and if so does anybody have any more information about that?

Recently I have been trying to come to terms with my past wrongs and my shortcomings it's been very difficult and recently I feel like my past has had a negative view on how I have been an inadequate parent to my children. Since I have been doing this my adult children's lives have hit difficulties. I am frightened that my guilt over bad decisions is manifesting traumas in them even though I've not acknowledged it to them fully. Does this make sense to anyone? My so for example thinks he had a happy childhood but he has a bad problem with alcohol and I am blaming myself and worrying over every little bad thing I've done to cause it.

I’m rereading a book of the apparitions at Medjegorji & it’s called “ISee Far” referring to what “Television” means & how this apparition came to those 6 children to say to stop watching it! And how it could be the downfall of society by creating false idols, “stars,” directing the mind to think anyway those creating “programs” desire we should think according to the “Networks,” “channels, & this “medium,” oh, not to mention the “gatekeepers,” which I’ve been told by my close friend like a brother, that these such people exist at these stations!” (Now I’m wondering...how much of my thoughts & opinions are of the self, the Self or are the “programming?” Again...some computer terms & others regarding media/medium, as in spiritual! Interesting too, is that term “Television!” Its part Greek: tele = far & Part English: vision = having far reaching vision!

Howdie is an interesting guy. On the one hand you can tell he really thinks (rare) and is truly open minded to whatever may be. On the other hand it seems like he has gone down a path of delusion despite this free thinking. So much of what he says seems delusional (self-hypnosis). He doesn't have the clear thinking logic of a Richard Rose. Richard Rose was extremely clear headed. Howdie has his head full of Egypt, miracles, and all kinds of emotional nonsense. It's almost like he didn't take whatever process going on in him to the end and instead decided to entrench somewhere along the line. It's like he drilled through one layer and then thought his journey ended there. He didn't keep going and persists in this story he has cooked up.

There are only two things I know 100%. It's possible for at least one conciousness to exist (mine) & that conciousness cannot determine if anything experienced as that conciousness is related to anything that is real & exists, so that conciousness could be being generated by something entirely unknown & unimaginable by the conciousness.

Reminds me a little of the William Hurt movie in 1980 called "Altered States" - where he takes acid(mushrooms) is his graduate studies, and pursues that research further, tripping in a sensory deprivation isolation tank. www.imdb.com/title/tt0080360/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_101 He travels back almost to cave-man times, wakes up and comes out of the tank at one point with blood on him mouth where he had killed and eaten a goat thousands of years ago. Also has his arm shape-shift into a cave-man arm while taking a shower, etc. Like time itself and and physical dimensions are able to be traversed, when the mind is not limited by physical or mental 'barriers'. I think that's what motivated the CIA/military research with LSD. And/or MKUltra mind trauma on the dark side.

Howdie is so right on. Let me tell you, I was happier broke. I was hired for the last 6 months making too much money for a looge fest type of position - and i was let go today - and i'm broke again, but the perpetuation of my life "broke" gave me a richer life. I never knew how I was going to get by- but I was outside all the time in nature - sitting for hours and gazing at the one meter area around me and the flow of opportunity, knowing and coversations I had with spirit - or something - maybe the other me... made my life so much more rewarding. The other thing I want to mention - if anyone can relate - is the propensity towards tormented children of church going parents. Drug addiction, schizophrenia, alcoholism.. so much suffering of children of very religious people. I think there's a pattern there. Thanks!

@@swhite8381 First of all I would like to commend both of your abilities to doubt. Doubt is a key value on the spiritual path, much more than faith or belief. In this case however I tried fit 3 minutes of a death/mystical/awakening experience into a short interview. I would need hours and even then, the logical mind will never understand it, only felt with the heart. Those who have had a similar experience understand me instantly (I know that due to the dozens of emails I have received from people). You will know fully when you die...but as a small help for your logical minds, there is a bodily action called swimming. Add that to the story and perhaps it might make a bit of sense- if you feel it out. It was a very real experience, both a blessing and a curse. Death is a very personal thing, let go of fear around it, allow to come close to you...touching death makes us very honest. Keep your doubt, its a powerful tool.

Pease, please, stop using Derren Brown as someone who can manipulate people in a rapid way like you mentioned. He's a magician. He uses the psychological approach as a presentational framework for his effects. Meaning, his "explanations", while entertaining, are not how he's actually accomplishing these feats. Does that mean mind control through propaganda or subliminal messaging doesn't exist? No, I'm not saying that. Brown is just not doing it for real.
