I totally get why J Carson didn’t like Howie. Go watch his old standup. So cringe and corny. How he’s networked his way to hosting a network show or a pod is unknown. Hack with dad jokes at best.

Penn is right about circumcision. It is not necessary, and it removes normal, sensitive, erogenous tissue for no good reason. And not a small bit of skin either, because the adult foreskin is around 3x5 inches, or 15 square inches. It is something we should have put a stop to decades ago, yet it's somehow still very prevalent in the US.
@renny6151

I’m tired of it. I’m tired of all the bullsh!t excuses people use to justify it too. Why is it so hard for people to leave boys bodies alone. Until we get rid out religions that require it, boys will never be protected by law, the same way girls are.
@rickcanty
@rickcanty Жыл бұрын
@@renny6151 Same. It is ridiculous that people think it's just perfectly fine to strip boys of their bodily autonomy, one of the most fundamental rights there is. Even when left intact, people won't leave boys bodies alone, and will do things like forced retraction. There is truly no excuse for this to still be happening in the 21st century.

I can tell you that it's not just better for the man, it's also much nicer (IMO) to leave it alone for This woman. I don't believe in Anyone's genital mutilation (and happento have been raised Jewish) Got to watch my father nearly pass out at his first grandson's bris. Was so hoping Penn would give Howie a hard time and joke about stealing *_"Bullsh!t"_* from him and turning it into a gameshow ✌️😂💓 Ah well maybe next time! But for real Penn we absolutely need another season of *_your_* version on our screens again someday!!

Back in the day, "Bullshit" was a huge help to me registering thousands of people into the Libertarian Party of Alaska. It made libertarianism hip and cool...and featured surprisingly good research. Fast-forwarding to 2020...Penn Jillette advocated voting for the literal legislative architect of the drug war... I'm not so sure we need Bullshit again...if Penn can't see through that particularly disease-infected and stinking load of said metaphorical matter...

When I was in school they used to teach that our system was designed to make the errorr where they let the guilty man go free instead of making the mistake of imprisoning an innocent man so I agree with him that the OJ verdict was an instance where the system worked exactly as it was designed to but the problem is you have to be really rich to have the system work the way it was designed.
@mattnj211
@mattnj211 9 ай бұрын
OJ was guilty and the only reason he got freed was because he was black and rich and had the “dream team” defending him and making everything about race. Also the jury was 9 blacks, 1 Hispanic, and 2 whites. 5 members of the jury said before it even began they didn’t believe OJ was likely to be a murderer just because he was an athlete…oh and all the jurors were democrats.😂 I think now that we have hindsight we can clearly see what really happened in that verdict.

Penn's half right about the theramin in Good Vibrations. He's right about it not being a regular theramin but it wasn't a synthesizer patch either, it was an 'electro-theramin' that was created by Paul Tanner, the guy actually playing it on the record.
@jamescameron277
@jamescameron277 Жыл бұрын
More notably, was Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin's use of the instrument, during Zeppelin's live shows, where Robert Plant's vocals would mimic the shrill cries Page produced on the Theremin, on songs like "Dazed and Confused" and "Whole Lotta Love".

Penn's main character in the novel is basically a variation of Bob Kane's 'Two-Face' character from DC Comics which first appeared in the 1940s. The only difference is that Two-Face uses a coin and his choices are either good or evil.

The theremin was really made popular by Mr. Jimmy Page, of the rock band Led Zeppelin, who was a master of the instrument; and used it in Zeppelin's live shows to do a "call-and-answer"-type thing to Robert Plant's howling vocals. Or rather, (more specifically), Plant's vocals would echo the shrill calls of Page's playing of the theremin, during songs like "Dazed and Confused" and "Whole Lotta Love". True!

I remember this fiasco with Gary Gilmore, and supposedly the reason he wanted to be executed by firing squad was because he was raised as a Mormon, which according to the media at the time, believed that the firing squad would give him a reason to spill his blood so he could self-atone for his sins.

The problem with the premise of pence novel is that if you're going to turn your life over to chance it's pointless to lay out all the possibilities you just roll the dice by taking whatever comes I guess. You don't have to count all the spaces on a roulette wheel to see where the ball lands.
