I know I’m only about 4 years late (that’s besides the point), but when Derek said part of him wanted to sit the balloons out bc he was in the lead , but said he would do it for his fans, then Brett says “what fans?” so stealthily. I can’t. Times have been rough, but just so happened to find y’all’s channel and have been binge watching since. Since the first bucket is about 0.25 meters, each proceeding bucket stacked would only add 0.0064 meters (since everything but the brim is inside of the previous bucket). Since the tower is 45 meters, 0.25+(45-0.25)/0.0064=6992, there would be about 6992 BUCKETS.

By the way each bucket adds about .025m not .0064. You have to account for the fact that the brims don't touch so there is an added amount of space between them

This reminds me of the time i was on a training camp and me and friends filled a trashbag with water and put 4-5 more trashbags around it to make it stronger so it wouldn‘t burst when we would throw and then we threw it off the roof the hotel which was like 7-8 stories so it was about 25 meters high our target was a girl on our team that was sunbathing next to the hotel pool... we missed her by like a meter and hit the sunlounge next to her it got completely obliterated because the bags didn‘t explode like we anticipated good fun though but i wouldn‘t do it again
