Thank you so much ,Mr. Brown for sharing your amazing trip with your youtube family , I loved listening to everything you spoke about and my husband Doug enjoyed listening and looking at all the pictures you shared . We are so glad you are enjoying your retirement sir. Doug my husband wants to retire next August 2025 when he turns 62 , We both are saving and paying off everything, which is now on his Truck and just about the home ,as my 2019 ford festa we paid off & got the title , Once we get those done he can retire God willing . We even turned our cable off in 2016 - which saves us over $200 a month ,$2,400 a year , also we eat at home and since he was diagnosed with diabetes this past November 2023 we both started keto - So alot less junk in the house ,saving on groceries and growing alot in our gardens , like 317 sweet onions & red onions from hoss this past November. God bless you & Mrs Lori . I listen to yall alot , Doug does when he is home from work and relaxing. Enjoy your evening and week ahead . Big hugs Mrs josette Montgomery County, Texas 🙏 June 1, 2024

We enjoyed listening to your Clayton adventure. We love NM and have headed west from Northwest AR on 412. It's a pretty easy drive that way, just always a long way across OK! My aunt and uncle lived in Raton, which is a quaint little town. Check it out when you go that way again. Around July 4th they have a hot air balloon rally. We've enjoyed so many interesting sites/adventures all around NM. My husband's favorite is Red River. Best wishes for a fun filled summer and wonderful retirement. We have a few more years to go, but we can't wait!🎉🎉❤

Greetings from Los Alamos,NM, Mr. Brown! Many thanks for acknowledging our beautiful and often forgotten state. Taos, NM is a popular tourist destination and has many beautiful sights to visit with stunning views including the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. As a reminder New Mexican's will commonly ask "Red, Green or Christmas" when you order food. Your choice... The Chili here is both flavorful mild/medium/hot and amazing! A freshly made Sopapilla hot drizzled w honey is an experience within itself. Wishing you much Love, Happiness, Perfect Health and Joy in yours years to come :). Keep them videos coming!

Mr Brown. In 2011, we had terrible flooding on the Missouri River in SE Nebraska and NW Missouri. I was an Engineer for a Class 1 railroad (just retired today-June 1). They had to reroute most of our trains and they picked engineers out of a few impacted areas and I had the pleasure of being picked and got to run mountain grade terrain my first trip from Trinidad Co to Denver. Most of the time we ran into NM. All the places u mentioned I got to see and brought back memories. That area of NM is gorgeous. If it were closer I would have transferred my certification and moved there. If in Trinidad (if it’s still there) u’ll have to go to Luna’s..on the west end of main street. They have the best wood fired pizza I have ever eaten. Glad u had an awesome time and happy retirement-Lorie M.

😊Always a joy to hear from you. Thank you for sharing your travel tales. One of my uncles,{Mom's brother} worked on the White Sands base from the Mid 80's till he retired,he loved it so well he stayed and passed away out there. He came back once to see my fourth child and Mom went out there once. She flew commercial to Alamagordo airport and then boarded a smaller airplane to White Sands...she had a wonderful time ,too...we got many pictures from him and from her trip, interesting state. If you would be interested in Elk hunting sometime they have a permit draw on Elk through the Ky Dept of Fish and Wildlife for the Elk hunt the end of September this year. We have 16 counties with Elk now. They started a reintroduction program in 1997 and again added in 2002...and it has been very successful,we have over 10,000 Elk now. There is also lots of good fishing around Land between the Lakes recreation area,Golden Pond,Ky. there are also RV parks, maybe Lori would like a trip to Ky. We have a beautiful state ,too. I know you both have lots of plans and I hope you continue to have a wonderful summer. But get some good rest, too and take care of that cough,May God bless.💞Say Hi to Miss Lori for me.

I really enjoyed listening about your trip. It reminded me of a report my grandfather wrote in the 1940s of a trip he went on out west to hunt antelope and jackrabbits. He drove with some friends all the way from Indiana to Washington state and back again. One of the notations he mentioned in his report was they had to stop and change the oil in the car beside the road on the wide open prairie. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, not one but 2 prairie dogs @440 yards?? I'll sure bet that was exciting! My husband and I have been bow and rifle hunters for years more recently just with our rifles and understand all the challenges you had. We've done most of our hunting in Utah, Arizona, Oregon, Wyoming, and Oklahoma. That being said, a lot of our favorite memories haven't been the game we were blessed to harvest but the journey and the people we met on each trip. Thank you for taking us along with you and hope to "travel" with you again real soon! Love and blessings to you and Miss Lori. ❤😊

I loved this video! Just made me smile and warmed my heart! 😉 Mr. Brown and Ms. Laurie, Google Western Colorado, and specifically Ouray, Ridgway and Silverton. We live 20 min from Ridgway, 30 min from Ouray and 50 miles from Silverton. I know we don’t know one another, even though you’re on KZfaq. 😉 Of course, you’d be MORE than welcome to stay in our home but……we also have full hookups for a camp trailer or motorhome. We believe we live in God’s country! 🤣 We moved back to our home state and chose to move about an 1 1/2 away from our home town because of the San Juan Mountains. We LOVE the south and have family in Florida as well as Louisiana. My husband’s uncle (by marriage) is a proud Coonass Cajun! Being Southern, I’m sure you understand that’s not a derogatory term but something he’s VERY proud of! I’m so happy your trip to the “west” was good!!! Our state has gotten a bit off of the rails politically. 😬 Stick with the ranchers and farmers and you’ll be just fine!!! ❤
