Fantastic;! explanation of the clip at 1' 12" is the key. Would have saved me hours if I'd found this one first.Other posters please take note.

Hi, I have a question We have a mercedes E220 from 2005. Now the problem is that when we open the car, the mirrors don't open automatic. We have to do it manuel inside to open them. Nor the light on the left side mirror doesn't work. Can someone help us? Thank u in advance

this mercedes is form 2003. the automatic mirror-function is an optional extra (Code 500) from Mercedes Benz.

My problem was not a faulty light unit, but 5 broken wires behind the mirror. Once repaired everything was back to normal

Hi, I've noticed you used some kind of automatic function to pull down the mirror. I can't seem to find it in my W203. Can you help me find it? I've been pushing it manually until now but it's really difficult. Thank you

Hi Ondrej. Podla mena sudim,ze kludne mozem pisat po SK.Potrebujem poradit,mam Merc.E class 2004 a nefunguje mi spolujazd.elektr.nastavovanie zrkadla+smerovka v nom.A nejde mi to tak otvorit ako vidim na videu.Nieje tam iny system?Vopred dakujem za odp.😉

+MrRadko75 Ahoj Radko, bohužel jsem ani po 9 měsících nepřišel na to, jak zrcátko otevřít. Svůj problém jsem nakonec vyřešil jinak, ale jestli ti zlobí elektrika u zrcátka (směrovka), tak možná bude lepší, když se na to podívá profík v servisu. Jinak C class i E class by to měl být podobný systém.

😊,no jo. Zahada to zrkadlo.Tak dakujem a jedine servis.Apropo bude to len prelomeny kabel,sem tam smerovka funguje.Prajem pekny den.

Hi Ondřej, this automatic function is an optional extra (Code 500) from Mercedes Benz. The Buttons to pull down or pull back the mirror, are on the same panel where you can switch the lights on or adjust the door-mirrors: goo.gl/photos/pdRAc6gQnGq57Xy47 If you don't have this automatic function, it's easier to do this work as a two-men-team or use this: www.mb-treff.de/anleitungen/cl203/spiegelblinker-klarglas/cl203_spiegelblinker-klarglas_01.jpg
