Do you have any experience on how the flash works on the dual-core stm32h7s work? For example, how do you flash just the m7 or just the m4? Or if you bootload it (BOOT0=1), will both cores try to program the file?

Do you upload. Elf files or. Bin files? When upload files from my pc to this custom blue pill board that I have and check the run after programming box, I get upload successful message but the program does not run and my board gets disconnected I think that's because I have to set boot1 back to vdd?(I am using UART through a USB to TTL dongle)

Only boot 0 needs to be changed from 0 to 1 for bootloader, then back to 0 to run normal.

@@Weblearning1 Thanks, that would be great. The STM32 is used a lot in new PCB designs, building a new STM32 based PCB and then showing how to program it would be awesome.

Sir, i can’t install stm32cubeprog. It say “ this app was configured to use a bundled java runtime environtment but the runtime is missing or corrupted”

Hello, when I push connect,.. all the STM32 info appear correctly but gives ERROR: Data Read Failed,... I tried several times with same result... any idea? thanks!

Are you using SWD? If so, it could be that you have pull up resistors ( you shouldn't ). The lines are to long or the connection is a bit bad/resistive. try and advise what was the cause.

hello i have a problem with a stlinkv2 original and clone the cube programer sees it a flash drive F why is that the serial number doesnt appeari get dev connect error

Sorry, I dont understand your question. The clone doesn't have a serial number?

If its on the STM32, and the device is open, yes, you can copy and then write it to another STM32 with the same part number as the original.

@@Weblearning1 I was trying to flash a Fysetc Spider 3D printer board. The software is ok, this tutorial is ok, the problem was with their instructions, Managed to brick my card and now I can't boot anything, in the meantime I switched to another card (SKR 2.0) from another brand, and everything is in order.

If you use an old USB 2.0 cable you need to put it in the USB 2.0 port of your computer and not the USB 3.0.

It doesn't matter. All the USB are backward compatible.

Am I the only one who sees an empty page at step 7 when we setup the STM32 Cube Programmer? I can't see any selections at that step 7.
