When creating a multilayer stencil in Photoshop, the first step is to copy the first layer twice. Add more or less than three layers to a stencil, depending on how detailed it should be, with help from a graphic designer in this free video on Adobe Photoshop tricks.

Yeah, I use Photoshop Essentials and it looks quite a bit different and the controls are too, it took me forever to figure it out because of that. I finally found that locked layers when copied sometimes cause issues if you try to convert them to greyscale before actually doing the threshold process

This tutorial appears to be exactly what I need, however, I don't have the Photoshop program. Can anybody inform me if Zac's awesome step by step instructions will work in CorelDraw? If so, I'll be in bliss.

when i come to the hue/saturation part, i dont get a reaction when i go positive. i have to bring the cursor negative to see any color change
