now it's something else, while other channels talking about how to clean the clogged pipe etc, you just simply tilt the unit instead... and amazingly the method fixed mine.

In my case the tilt won't help because the water leaks at the spot where the hose is connected to the ac

My AC started dripping at 2 am. Watched your video and fixed it. It was a minor jam in the outlet pipe. Poked the outlet with a wire and water flowed out. God bless you 😊😊😊😊

As others experienced, spent a few hours on this poking around and looking for info and tips to no avail. We only need the AC units for a couple more months now as we are moving to a new house then with new units installed. Certainly didn’t want to spend a lot for that very reason. Ours are 25 year old Fujitsu air conditioners so they’ve certainly done their work- but just a little longer please! Thank you so much as the method worked as well on ours as newer ones such as in your video, I’d imagine.

Perfect, and the air compressor with an air gun attachment blew out the obstruction. Poured some bleach down it in case there was algae buildup. And now the filters are clean also! Excellent information and DIY project!!

On mine, there was a giant collection of gooey gelatin-like muck. I used an old toothbrush to push it out of the internal unit's gutter, and then tested the flow of water from a cup as described in this video. Flows properly again ! Thanks for this video!

Let me tell you, I had the shittiest day today and I truly believed I was about to sleep without an ac for weeks, I just took out the filters and HOLY SHIT the amount of dust that was on it was HORRIFYING rinced the filters off and now it's good as new! It may, but in some cases there is plenty of gunk stuck in the pan which needs to be cleaned inside.

I usually use balloon hand pump to clean clogged hose.I pump(lightly)on the hose where the ac water drains and 99% it works

If you pour water down the line from inside and it flows away well. But AC is still leaking, it may be low on gas. Run AC on lowest cold setting and if after around 15-30mins it dripping you will see the coils might be iced over (ice formed on the coils). With the extra ice it can start dripping off the coils and not land in the drip tray and come out of thr plastics in different places and drip on the floor etc. If coils are iced up, system is low on gas. AC guy can test gas levels. Need AC guy but at least you have an idea of what it might be and can tell him you did test if the drain line was blocked.

@@HowToPM Thank you So much for the propmt reply. I tried Yesterday to fix it as you did explain exactly, But there were some screws in the case couldn't remove at all, about the damage my screw drivers. Idid som cleaning the draining stops for couple of hours only. Thanks once again

Thank you for the education. Our units are eight years old and one just started leaking. I'm also concerned now about the rest of them. Any alternative to using an air compressor, like maybe a plumbing snake or something similar?

That is what I used, I never tried other alternative. But probably that a shopvac on the other end would do the job too or a fish tape too. I think some people give ideas in the comment.

My AC's water outlet is on the right side but the hole in the wall is on the left side. The drain pipe runs all the way below the unit without any sloping... is this a faulty installation? Why didn't they use the same side? The unit has outlet option on both ends.

If your vacuum can handle water yes that might work too. Air pressure worked well for me.
