Basically, the fingerprint works for me. Until two hours ago, it was working, and suddenly it appears under fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello). This option is not currently available. I did exactly everything in the video and nothing changed. Can you help me??

Thanks, but check the properties on the devices manager option inside biometric that if there is any error or not. then uninstall and then do scan for hardware changes.

Para aquellos que no puedan activar la huella, deben asegurarse que su Windows esté actualizado correctamente. 😊 Luego reiniciar el equipo, después ingresar al Administrador de dispositivo y asegurarse que tenga la opción de "Dispositivos biométricos", te debe desglosar una opción de "Synaptics FP Sensors (WBF)" asegurarse de que en la ventana que abra mencione en el *Estado de Dispositivo*: Este dispositivo funciona correctamente. Después de ello, ir a opciones de inicio de sesión y la opción de Huella digital estará habilitada, le dan click en *Configurar* y pasan su dedo por el sensor de huella (en HP EliteBook 840 7th Gen) es el rectángulo muy fino en la parte inferior del teclado. Buena suerte!

Actualiza Windows, debes tener Synaptics FP Sensors en tus actualizaciones pendientes. Luego reinicia el equipo y vuelve a ingresar en Opciones de inicio de sesión (Huella digital), te debe habilitar la opción de CONFIGURAR. Le das click y pasas tu dedo por el sensor. Eso es todo.

Hi! I did everything you said to do and my fingerprint reader still doesn't work. It doesn't even say anything in my settings. When I try to set it up, it simply does not detect anything. A couple of day ago, it said that I should clean the fingerprint reader, but now it says nothing and doesn't work. I've done dozens of researches but I still didn't find a way.
