I think that this is less creepy than video games with characters who are drawn/animated to look like kids/ tweens but they give them lore that they are actually old dragons/ vampires who they then can dress up in crazy skins showing way too much for pre teen looking characters! At least this lorewise underage character looks adult so while it's weird but it's not as bad as how other games play with character ages.

Just me but I swear they rarely / never make anyone a uni student in anime and manga fiction. 😅

high school in China is from 15 to 18 and there is no stated age for her so she could be in high school and be 18. i mean when i was in high school there were multiple seniors a year that were 18-19 so high school doesn't mean under age. if your problem is just with the fact they are in high school i mean i get it but its also a fake world so i personally don't see the prob unless they state shes like 15 -17.

Call me crazy but as a 17 year old high schooler I just can’t brind myself to be mad about it. Yes, sexualization of high school girls both in media and in real life is a huge problem but this is really not that bad. Just a weird detail that they probably shouldn’t have done but let’s be real she’s an anime girl in a gacha game so high schooler or not some people are going to be attracted to her in that way. Especially because in this anime art style you can have a 16 year old and a 26 year old that look exactly the same and there’s really no way of knowing a character’s age without official confirmation from the creators. Ellen could be either 15 or 18, heck i even know some people from my high school who graduated at the age of 19 almost 20.

I’ve been looking on the comments on this video and a lot of them are saying that it’s fine. I personally disagree because i don’t think it’s fine to like a high schooler, fictional or not. Hoyo knows people like maids. They had zero reason to make her a high schooler. It just feels uncomfortable that people are justifying it.
