Hi I had no trouble getting the plastic and screws off, but doesn't seem to have any gap to get the cover off. The video was excellent but have no idea how to release the cover , Any suggestions? Thank you

Regarding your question, you need a guitar pick .3mm thick and hard and you will need to stick it in between the palm rest and bottom cover and twist. i wish i could give you a better way but this is the only correct way.

Can we not use the battery? I am planning to remove the battrey, and use the cable to turn on the laptop instead.

Nice video. Does this laptop have a CMOS or RTC battery. If yes, how can I replace it? VERY URGENT PLEASE!!!🙏🏽

Regarding your question, sorry to inform you but this laptops don't have a dedicated CMOS battery they use a capacitor and take the voltage from main internal battery, if you want to reset the BIOS to default options, you can remove the charger remove the battery and press and hold the power button for 60sec and then plug in the battery and charger and you have reset the bios. no it doesn't not have an physical cmos battery it uses the main battery to keep bios configured. thank you for the support and your feedback.

My laptop says Cmos checksum invalid code 502 then the screen goes dark,do you know what I can do,I almost the exact same model

Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P regarding your question: okay 1st of all i need to know in detail what happens. when you power on the laptop after how many sec you get a msg saying Cmos Che..... code 502 ? and after that screen goes dark and after 5min or so still dark? or it goes to windows? or you force shutdown? the solution i would like you to do is the following: remove the internal battery and the charger and no need to put the cover on, and press and hold the ON button for 60sec after that plug the battery and then plug the charger and wait 10min and then power on and see if your error is gone. the above solution is resetting the Cmos chip.
