bro in omen gaming hub set the performance to default and fans to auto because the cpu temperature is getting high to 85 to 92 c but when the fans set to max when we set the fans to auto the cpu will be at 65 to 75 this laptop has some cooling issues so its not the gpu or cpu but the cooling issue and gpu is good at 50w i am getting a nice framerate at high setting i have this laptop i played 3 games which are cpu intensive this laptop good that rx6500m getting nice framerate at 50w of power just try that it will be fine no big stuttering appear and windows 11 also a have a problem with gamebarpresencewrite it takes more ram then normal usage the gpu doesnt have any problem so try this it will be fine

@@Thetrader6768 it's because of cpu is over heating and GPU is getting heated because the heat pipes are taking heat from cpu and dumping it on GPU try to lower your locking speeds of cpu i done it but windows only, windows 11 have locked option in power profile you can unlock those by a tool you can check it in KZfaq about it

The reason for lag is rx6500 has 4 PCIe gen 4 lanes and rx5500 has 8 PCIe gen 3 lanes but ryzen 5 5600h only have gen 3 PCIe lanes because of that it has less bandwidth for rx6500

@@devanshtandon5972 in update the hp mentioned that there is a cpu vitals problem like measuring temperature . You can see there is difference in cpu temperature in Msi afterburner and omen hub it's fixed no I don't have huge drops but in older game fps is so low I am trying to fix that now

The problem is not with the laptop the problem is that it is not properly tuned by hp which causes performance and stability issues...u have to set the power plan to high performance cap the temps to around 75° to 80°....i'm not facing any slutters and lag till date

At this point go for minimum rtx 2050 under 55k and if you can go for rtx 3050 under 60k but these gpu are not future proof as they have 4gb vram latest games demands 6gb vram for eg-tekken 8 you cannot go above medium settings on 4gb vram cards

RX6500M is absolutely not recommended as it drops frames alot. If you want to choose only between this model, I will prefer ASUS

i have hp victus ryzen 5 5600h 8gb ram with radeon 6500m its not performing upto mark i have played games like evil within 2, saints row,plague tale and i am getting 50-55 fps with too many frame drops going as much as 8 fps even in 1080p low settings and i have seen videos of laptops with lower specs performing much better even on 1080p high settings and no frame drops can anyone tell whats causing this and whats the solution(i play with charger plugged on)

Sir I have a Doubt I am also using Msi afterburner while checking the game stats but my gpu is always limits its self 75 C if the temperature of gpu goes above the 75 C i am getting huge fps drop I don't know what's the problem and my cpu is taking around 80 w of power draw while gaming

Mujhe rx5500 lena hai kya wo shai rahega abhi ke time.. Usko lonch hue.. I think 18 to 20 month ho gaye hai kya ye best hoga.. In long use 4 to 5 years...?

Yes, it is a good laptop under 55000. atleast 6500M se to better hai.

go with either gtx1650 or RX5500M. Do not buy RX6500M

Bhai abh naya driver update aya he isme aur random frame drops nhi hotha he. App bhi test karke bta sakte he kya

Hey brother, Yes bro, fps drop drastically from 60fps to 0-10 fps for 2-3 sec and again run smoothly, and then again same problem arise every time, driver kess update karte he please bata sakte he me ye baat baar fps drop se tang aa chuka hu

@@Thetrader6768 abe driver booster namak ek application he chrome se download karlo. Aur instal karne ke badh search for updates likh kar atha henusme . Aur sare drivers automatically lardo

Bhai ak laptop lene ka soch rha hu but rx 5500m wala variants available nhi hay abhi, yahatak msi ka bhi dekha mene 6500m wala hi available hay. But msi bravo 15 ka ryzen 7 5800h wale me ye acche se kaam karega kya?

yes you can do anything programming related but I believe you must opt for RTX GPUs in 2024 or nothing this laptop will be bad on video editing rx 6500 has bad reputation amd gpus are good on pc market
