What do you use to customize the RGB keyboard to be Color coded? Z light?

Hi there! yes, the software to customize the RGB keyboard is called Z Light Space and you can download it from the Microsoft Store.

I know that it's a workstation but is there any 5G option?

Unfortunately not! Interestingly enough, 5G is available in the ZBook Fury G9 but not the Studio.

Zbook G5 X360 offered 15 -17 hrs to run on single charge. On reality working only on google chrome it lasts 2.5 - 3hrs max ! This is the problem with all these heavy duty HP laptops ! I would prefer to even have a half kg heavier laptop with a battery that can deliver 6 hrs...but IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN WITH HP ZBOOK !

Great job on the review! That was clear and concise. Thank you also for giving an overview of what each of the particular GPU options-both the A5000 and RTX 3080-can do well. This new iteration of the ZBook line-up is a great improvement from last yearʼs and is a welcome competition amongst professional-level portable workstations.

I bought the previous G8 w 4K screen and had nothing but problems with it. Constantly overheated & crashed, incompatible with Windows 11, finally it stopped charging. I can't get the same one under warranty so am thinking about upgrading to this amazing machine to keep my 4K screen. Though at over $3,000 more. Pretty unimpressed with HP. Support (ex India) is terrible. Even at this price point. Great overview but having young Carlin do it is a bit disingenuous. There is NO HP in NZ.

Sorry to hear that you’ve had issues with your notebook and with support. I’m a little confused by the last bit of your comment though - HP has a full, dedicated team in NZ which includes a local customer support team.

@@CarlinTalksHP Interesting. Harvey Norman's IT guys here in Chch could only talk to India. I initially tried talking to HP via WhatsApp. They were also in India. At no time was I made aware of any local support, which would have been useful.

Where is AMD version?

No AMD CPUs in the HP G9 Mobile Workstation range (only desktop workstation), however the ZBook Fury G9 supports an AMD Pro 6600M 8GB GPU. Hope this helps!
